Apparently Fox Business is reporting that Trump fired Rosenstein? Did they report a bit early, fake news, or?
What I read is that Rosenstein has seen his eventual firing as a sort of
fait accompli and has entered a Zen state of calm and acceptance. But is hasn't actually happened yet (as of 1:09 PM PST)

I'm trying to parse it out. The "den of thieves and lowlifes!" is the FBI/DOJ, correct?
That's an odd way to characterize an institution that just released an ethics report highly critical of one of its own, especially when that someone is someone you hate.
It's almost like he's just completely gone towards seeing the FBI as his personal enemy and has no other frame of reference for its activities.

Only skimmed the findings but in my skimming the LIED LIED LIED seems to be that McCabe misled Comey. I'm trying to see the head and voice of the Republican party's support systems dot connection but my crayon appears to be broken. Can someone with better reading comprehension explain the report to me?

The thing is, if it's accurate that Cohen routinely recorded calls (which it sounds like it is), there *must* be tapes of Cohen and Trump, right? And if so, there has to be discussions of illegal activities on them, right?
Seems like a super plausible reason for Trump to be flipping the fuck out.

What would be funny is if there were but it was totally unrelated to the subpoena and none of it could be used.

That's not how it works. They need to have a reasonable basis (pursuant to the warrant) for searching the place and seizing the evidence. Once they have done so, though, if the tapes indicate different criminal activity than they were expecting, they are not at all foreclosed from using that evidence to prove those new violations.

That's not how it works. If evidence of a crime is found during a legal search, then that evidence can be used regardless of whether it was related to the original search warrant.

You have to admit, though, it

For me admonishing subordinates over leaks you authorized but demied is pretty despicable.
But not only did McCabe falsely deny being behind the leaks, he admonished two FBI executives over the disclosures, the IG report said.
One section of the document entails phone calls McCabe had with the Assistant Directors in Charge at both the New York and Washington, D.C., field offices following the publication of The Journal article.
The FBI officials “told us that they each received calls from McCabe admonishing them for leaks contained in the October 30 WSJ article about the [Clinton Foundation] Investigation,” the report says.
But during those conversations, McCabe did not reveal he was actually behind the leaks.
“At no time did McCabe disclose to either of them that McCabe had authorized Special Counsel to disclose information about the CF Investigation to the WSJ reporter,” the report reads.
McCabe was “ticked about leaks” in the Journal article, The New York official told the office of the inspector general. But the official “pushed back” saying the New York agents were not privy to some of the information contained in the Journal piece.
The Washington official had a similar experience with McCabe.
McCabe called the Washington official and “admonished him regarding leaks in the article,” the official said. McCabe told the official to “get his house in order.”
McCabe did not recall calling either official to reprimand them over leaks, the FBI depute director said.
McCabe contacted the New York official again on Nov. 4 following the publication of another Wall Street Journal article that referred to the information McCabe had leaked. The official said McCabe was “angry.” McCabe said There “will be consequence and get to bottom of it post election. Need leaks to stop. Damaging to org,” the New York official wrote in his notes.

Yeah, I was about to say you're in for a surprise.
Speaking of the dossier, it seems like another part of the dossier has been confirmed:
Sources: Mueller has evidence Cohen was in Prague in 2016, confirming part of dossier
Re: The Trump Investigation Thread

by Holman
And not just any old part of the dossier, but the hard-core collusion part.
Confirmation of the trip would lend credence to a retired British spy’s report that Cohen strategized there with a powerful Kremlin figure about Russian meddling in the U.S. election.
It would also be one of the most significant developments thus far in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of whether the Trump campaign and the Kremlin worked together to help Trump win the White House. Undercutting Trump’s repeated pronouncements that “there is no evidence of collusion,” it also could ratchet up the stakes if the president tries, as he has intimated he might for months, to order Mueller’s firing.
It’s unclear whether Mueller’s investigators also have evidence that Cohen actually met with a prominent Russian – purportedly Konstantin Kosachev, an ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin — in the Czech capital. Kosachev, who chairs the Foreign Affairs Committee of a body of the Russian legislature, the Federation Council, also has denied visiting Prague during 2016. Earlier this month, Kosachev was among 24 high-profile Russians hit with stiff U.S. sanctions in retaliation for Russia’s meddling.

I didn't want to be the guy who explained it to you.
The salient point is that this is at least part of the kompromat that Putin has over Trump, and the harder Trump denies it, the more likely it is to be real.

Watching hookers pee on a bed that the Obamas slept in isn't the problem, per se (aside from what it tells us about his character). Being subject to blackmail by the Russians because of it is the problem.
