You see movement in the bushes, assume it's your target and fire away.
Not very efficient and dangerous.
I've seen this both in hunting and in war. Very stupid.

USA Today
Singer Rod Stewart and his eldest son, Sean, were ordered to appear in court after they allegedly got into an altercation with a hotel security guard during a New Year’s Eve party in Palm Beach.
Both face a charge of simple battery and are scheduled to have an arraignment hearing on Feb. 5 before Circuit Judge Ted Booras, court records show. Attempts to reach the talent management company that represents Rod Stewart were unsuccessful Friday night.
According to a Palm Beach police report, the altercation occurred at about 11 p.m. Tuesday at the Breakers hotel. A 33-year-old security guard told police he was working a private event at the hotel in a children’s area that night when he observed a group of people causing a scene after they were denied entry.
The security guard said that a man, later identified as Sean Stewart, 39, got about “nose to nose” distance from his face. The security guard put the back of his right hand on the younger Stewart’s chest and told him he needed to back up to create some space, the police report said.
Sean allegedly responded by shoving the security guard backward. Police say that Stewart, 74, then approached and threw a punch, striking the security guard in his left rib cage area.
Two Breakers employees told police they saw Sean push the security guard and Stewart punch the guard in the chest. Video surveillance showed the Stewarts to be the primary aggressors, police said.

I think I fixed my new pair of glasses with Bondic (clone) UV-cured glue. Previously I reported I broke the new pair after wearing it only 24 hours (or less) when I tried to adjust the frame. So far it's holding, but it can always break later.
I basically measured my own prescription using EyeQue vision tracker. it works great for distance vision, as I got the glasses from Zenni very quickly. But the cheaper frames are... well, a bit delicate. *sigh*
This is single vision and it's not good for reading or computing. I have a progressive pair coming in 3 weeks (or less) that hopefully will give me one pair to watch them all, distance, computer, and reading.

I do not have a lifestyle or the biology that affords me the luxury of being able to eat fast food often. This week, poor planning on my part has seen me eat fast food, not once, not twice, but three times. Twice at two different McD's and once and Burger King. All three venues have converted their drive through menus into slide show display kiosks. One huge display has a stable frame of $8+ combo meals. The other is a slide show of 5 second slides, every third slide or so, shows a partial menu for five seconds.
Don't most McD's now have those self-order kiosks that will display just about everything you can order?

I am still searching for the ultimate Phone carrying solution. Magnets are easy, but not always secure, at least not the ones that have a belt buckle.
I recently
came across this, and it's pretty ingenious, and VERY secure.
Basically, you stick the "button" on the back of your phone case (do NOT apply directly to the phone! The 3M VSD stickers are considered "permanent) and that's about it. The two bits of metal grabs onto the "latch points" and doesn't let go unless you turn the whole thing 90 degrees
The problem here however, is the thickness... it's noticeable and makes fitting onto a car dock a bit iffy. And it's not as "auto-seeking" like the magnet solution.

Looks like a sleepless night. been doing great a long time now with occasional sleep support liquid. But today I got up extra early to get out and get done so during the day I just ran out of steam twice and had 2 one hour naps. Just went to rest and nodded right off. Happens. So tonight Im wide awake even after some Benedryl. Oh well. Maybe tomorrow night will be back to normal. But knowing me I will nod off during the day. Id force myself to stay away from the bed but Id fall out of my chair or simply fall during the day and re injure myself. Not fall asleep and fall. Just seem to fall if Im very tired.

I wish Yahoo news would quit mixing opinion pieces with their regular news. Very frustrating to read a piece and find it an opinion piece.
Of course sometimes they're just supposed news written by someone with an agenda.

30 year old father and 9 year old daughter mistaken for deer and shot and killed.
Im really sick of seeing this happen. How can you not tell a deer from a person?? Why are you shooting at something you cant even tell is not a deer to start with? They should put them away for murder. Screw this "I didn't know" bullshit. A grown man and a little girl? Really you blind moron?
Rule #4: Know your target and what is behind it. Negligent homicide at best.
This is the result of poor training and worse execution. It's unclear weather the victims were wearing blaze but, while they should have been, it's still not an excuse if they weren't.
Always know who you're shooting with and only go if you trust them with your life. Because you
are trusting them with your life.

Got done grocery shopping. We were loading the groceries into the trunk. We use insulated bags for frozen stuff due to the drive home (about half an hour), and my son is usually designated to hold the bags while i load them.
Hold the bag.
We decided that he shall be known as 'Hobag.'

Is it ever a good idea to dispute a collection charge? I have a $100 charge sitting on my credit score. Its been there since 2016. Its a hospital so Im assuming its a medical bill. Its been on my credit report for all these years. Its not helping me any. Is it a good idea to dispute it? Or would that reset the collection agency's attempt to collect it?

Its either dispute and not pay it or let it sit there for about 5 years until I pay off the home.

Don't those age off after 7 years anyway? If it's been there since 2016, it's halfway gone. Unless you expect to need better credit between now and then, I'd leave it alone.

No just bugs me. Credit scores dont make a lot of sense. Go into bankruptcy and they rise into 720s. Pay it off and they drop 100 points. Have a $100 bill then f your score even if there is zero bad stuff it wont rise. Its all weird and pretty useless usually.

They really don't. My mom has her phone ringing all day long, Ive been looking into how to stop at least half of the calls.
Will the Registry stop all unwanted calls?
No. The Do Not Call Registry stops sales calls from real companies. The Registry is a list that tells telemarketers what numbers not to call. The FTC does not and can not block calls. The Registry can’t stop calls from scammers who ignore the Registry.

Decided to mess with my air fryer a bit more now that I got some potatoes and sweet potatoes in.
With potatoes, I just cut it lengthwise into quarters. They are a bit large, but they cook through after about 18 minutes at 400. Probably should have cut them a bit smaller (maybe 8ths wedges). Add whatever powder flavoring I have on hand, almost anything works. I've even tried the ramen flavor packets, curry powder, mixed spice, etc. They make a beautiful 'crust'.
However, first attempt with the sweet potatoes didn't fare as well. it seems these have more moisture content and thus, same 18 minutes didn't cook the sweet potatoes (similarly cut in 1/4th wedges) all the way through. They taste underdone.
lesson learned: cut thinner wedges, sweet potatoes take more time.
EDIT: One of these days, I may make my own "Doritos Powder"
