The Google-translated version reveals that one team will work on Cyberpunk 2077 add-on content, another will develop the previously announced Cyberpunk multiplayer project, and a third team will begin work on the next title in The Witcher series. According to Eurogamer Poland, this will not simply be The Witcher 4, rather, a game set in that universe.

Been watching Sam Witwer stream a lot lately. Plays a lot of Temple of Elemental Evil and Star Wars. He was the lead character in the Force Unleashed games and voiced Darth Maul in the Clone Wars show. He has a lot of opinions on Maul and such. Fun to watch because he talks about the shows and games so much.
The post above was last summer, and Steam now says this will be out March 31.
("Early Access," of course...)

I have completely given up trying to make sense of PSN download speeds.
At around 6:00 tonight, I started the 45 GB download of FF XIV. It finished just after 7:30. At 8:30, I started the 3 GB download of Blood Bowl 2. It was still in process when I went to bed at 10:45.
So, 90 minutes for a 45 GB download, and 2+ hours for a 3 GB download. Makes total sense, right?

45 gig would take me 24+ hours probably.

You'd think with almost the country at home now the online stores and gaming places would be having more and deeper sales than Im seeing so far. I think Ive seen 2 maybe 3 sales and no prices any better and maybe worse than normal. Pathetic. Not like I can afford them but I know others would like some and I like to dream and price match and stuff for the hell of it.

I think Steam's idea of "relevance" could use some work:
Sure, 90% of that "play time" is me leaving the game open while I'm at work but still - you'd think playing the previous title in the series for over 256 full days would be enough to indicate my interest in the next game in the series.

While I've left nothing running for 6000 hours, I've noticed that problem too.

After reading all the great reviews, I looked into using the last of my Gamestop credit to grab Doom Eternal. Figured I could just buy it digitally on their website and use the code to download it on my PS4. That way, I wouldn't have to actually go to one of their stores.
Nope, their website sells digital codes for Xbox One and PC, but only sells physical copies for PS4.
Checked Amazon, same thing. Digital codes for Xbox and PC, but none for PS4.
Curious why that would be. Seems like they're losing out on a ton of sales by not selling digital codes for a AAA game, especially right now.

I have OOTP 19 and have played since 11 I think. I've got one main fantasy league where I've had great success. Problem is, it has severe load, save, and transition times. Is this common on older saves? Is this a common occurrence with this game?
I'd like to get back into it, but get frustrated waiting so much.

On Steam is there any way to find out what the latest updates do? Since their interface update I can't find anything there anymore. And they don't say on the games launch page.
In this case it was X-Com Enemy Unknown.

Click the game, click Community Hub, click News. Of course, this requires the devs to actually post the updates in the news, which many don't. For most it's usually just better to google it, IE X-Com Enemy Unknown patch history.

If a game is posting news, you can add the news feed to an RSS reader. I used Feedly so I get the updates without having to go check game pages.

4 days in a row Ive not played anything. Depressingly boring.
I've downloaded it, but won't get a chance to dig in until later this afternoon. Sounds like the core tactical game is there, but it adds a layer of gacha and microtransactions...both of which I hate. Will be interesting to see if my love of the FFT systems can overcome my dislike of the other crap.
Will give it a whirl and report back later. If it sucks, I can always just go back to Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark.
EDIT: Don’t even bother with this, it’s dreadful unless you’re really into gacha games. If this gives you any idea of the type of game it is, within the first hour I had collected 32 different low level characters from random rolls, drops, and rewards. I had the option to watch video ads to get even more. It took me four battles to figure out how to disable the “auto-battle” feature. Auto battle...in a FF Tactics game...W.T.F??
Reading up on it, this game is apparently a straight reskin of The Alchemists Code, another SRPG by the same developer. Like, literally all they did was replace the characters, skills, and such in TAC with FF-themed stuff.
I so badly wanted FF Tactics to return, but not like this. It’s actually quite depressing to see such an amazing series reduced to...whatever this shitshow is.
GameStop: From "We're essential" to "F##k this, I'm out" in record time. 300 stores permanently closing.

Sometimes nostalgia for a game is perfectly acceptable. Especially when revisiting said game will taint that positive nostalgia significantly.
The new Panzer Dragoon Remake on Switch is one of those games. I remember that game absolutely blowing my mind in the Sega Saturn days. Now? Not so much.
Doesn’t help that the remake has overly sluggish controls that make it really hard to play.
Definitely not worth the $25.

Squeenix announced this morning that they will be releasing a remastered version of the original Nier sometime this year.
I’m thrilled, as it was one of my favorite games from the last console generation. A mishmash of literally every genre imaginable (3rd person adventure, turn-based RPG, survival horror, top-down twin stick shooter, bullet hell SHUMP, text adventure) with fascinating characters and one of the best soundtracks you’ve ever heard.
So this is now available in early access (and at a sale price of $39.99 rather than $49.99). Anybody take the plunge and trying this now? I'm always wary about early access as some games are barely playable and bare-bones, while others are EA in name only.

Playing through Lego City Undercover and it's a fairly good game. Probably one of their biggest to date being that it's open-world, and damn it has just so many collectibles it's bewildering.

If it’s a fake, it seems to have fooled pretty much everyone. There’s announcements on all the major sites.

the current zombie "Atari Inc" is just a fourth-generation French lifestyle apparel/shell holdings investment firm employing about ten people (with 'stocks' currently trading about 22 cents per share) who make most of their income through bringing lawsuits against t-shirt manufacturers' perceived illicit trademark use.

Now that Twitch Prime requires you to download the "Amazon Games" client in order to run any of their freebies, I think I'm reaching critical mass on gaming clients. I've got the following installed on my PC:
- Steam
- Amazon Games
- Epic
- GOG Galaxy
- Xbox
- PS Now
- Uplay
- Battle.net
