I feel fortunate to have lived through the entire first reconnaissance of the solar system, from the earliest lunar probes through Pluto...and possibly beyond. New Horizons might go on to other Kuiper Belt objects after Pluto's in the rearview mirror.

Des Bishop is an Irish-American stand-up comedian out of New York... and he's getting chance of a lifetime... He's being sent to China, put up with a host family (mommy, daddy, small daughter, and grandma) for a year, for an intensive immersion course in Chinese, take odd jobs here and there (including being the greeter of a local restaurant, Chinese of course, saying welcome 歡迎光臨！at arriving people) and generally get a reality show out of it. The ultimate goal, is for him to "bring the house down" by doing a stand-up routine, IN CHINESE, in front of a Chinese audience.

One of his jokes, as relayed to Freaknomics podcast, originally in Chinese, of course.
As it is all subtitled, you don't need to speak Chinese, but it'll be funnier if you do. The other 5 episodes are also online.
