Fox news has always been a joke. Its scary that the President thinks its the only real one.

CNN needs to stop trying for gotcha headlines and do the goddamn work to verify these stories. When facing a pathological liar like Trump you have to be all that more careful. Every screw up emboldens him and convinces his worshippers that he’s the victim in all this. They need to be better than Fox News and Breitbart, not their peers.

Tell me when Breitbart does that. Or Trump.

CNN and other news outlets who aren’t sycophants for Trump need to be better though. Even more so now. We cannot afford to feed into Trump’s narrative. It just seems to be happening more and more lately.

True, but that doesn't make it any less maddening. Fox can flat-out lie, distort, and misrepresent all day, every single day with absolutely no repercussions or accountability at all. EVER.

Then the same people that spend their days nodding in agreement to that spew of utter bullshit say that CNN getting this particular story wrong (which they certainly shouldn't have done) invalidates anything and everything.

It's absurd and drives me insane, but I don't know what can be done. It's propaganda and brainwashing at it's finest. Especially when the data shows that conservatives get their news from Fox, while liberals get theirs, well, everywhere. Breaking through that barrier is nigh impossible at this point.
