Yeah - they are a manufacturer of many different types of components. They've had a good story lately with all the price run ups and high demand.Carpet_pissr wrote: Thu Mar 17, 2022 10:11 amI never bought NVDA "there", but in terms of semiconductors, still holding AMAT and LRCX, both down slightly from where I bought.LawBeefaroni wrote: Thu Mar 17, 2022 10:05 amI did get 100 GFS under $45 but I'm kicking my self for not buying more.malchior wrote: Wed Jan 26, 2022 1:17 pmThe highly "diversified" play here is KLAC IMO.LawBeefaroni wrote: Wed Jan 26, 2022 1:12 pmI have a lot of TSM so not looking into add much in the way of semis but I'm looking at GFS here. $45-50.Carpet_pissr wrote: Wed Jan 26, 2022 12:01 pm Gotta buy NVDA here, right?!? Hell, I think ANY semiconductor company right now is probably a great pick. Currently holding AMAT and LRCX, but feeling tempted to get NVDA as well.
GFS is a pure semi play?
I mentioned KLAC awhile back because they manufacture QA equipment and provide technical services to everyone in the sector - AMD, CSCO, GFS , INTC, AMD, MU, NVDA, etc. They tend to grow along with the whole industry.
