Now THAT is a bandwagon
All you have, Scoop, is a Radio Flyer tied to your bike with you pedalling and Chaosraven riding along.

If Scoop is pulling Chaosraven in a Radio Flyer behind his bike then Scoop must have super human strength to move at all.

I didn't put much stock in Grund calling me Rachel because I know he wouldn't print a road map for the bad guys and post it, but theohall now is stating I'm special...maybe I am special, bad guys can kill me tonight to find out. Are you taking a page out of Grund's strategy book now or was that a serious list?
I'm curious... how is this not a road map for bad guys as well?

My comments are the same thing. Suspicions, swags and wags. Grundbegriff's swags attempted to specifically name all every role with a couple of "or" options, which also points out targets for the bad guys. Of course, that entire list is probably a bluff just as mine could be. Your concerned reply to my list is probably painting a big red bullseye on you for the bad guys.

Heh, I read it as: he thinks Scoop, Unagi and Brendan are the three evils. He thinks others might be good and puts in wherever he feels froggy.
If he really thinks people are good powereds he wont out them, its not how he rolls. I assume there is also misdirection and random things in there to screw with anyone reading. So, any evil person who isn't a complete moron wont be using that to kill anyone (Although leaving people grund thinks as evil alive might be possible) because it works both ways, good or evil... you just cant trust grund.
It's an adapted version of a threat matrix, nothing more... Although I was shocked to see one done so early this game.
Ezmate: this is my busy weekend... leaving in about 20 mins, prolly not really spending more than sleep time at home until monday evening or tuesday afternoon.

I think it's sort of fascinating that each person in this chain of discussion -- Semaj, theohall, and the person to whom theohall replied -- seems to take for granted that I'm good, and to express no concern to the contrary.

Isgrimnur? The only game I played against him I was the mother alien bad guy and infected him to be a bad guy the first night, then he quickly got shot by pr0ner (or was it Austin?). So I really don't know him at all, but unlike Lassr f. ex. (
) I don't like to vote for people simply because I don't know them! Also, Grundbegriff's switching from tru1cy to Isgrimnur is weird. Maybe Grund is beating the grass, maybe he and tru1cy are in cahoots.
Regardless, I'd like to see some more people write, you know, stuff. Not much to go on and I haven't found any rules exploits... yet.

Try to guage if I would rather move my vote to isg, or tru1cy.
So, no one (even with recent behavior) feels like I've got anything on Brendan?

Not really.
First, it's Scoop - he has a long history of 'acting up'.
If Scoop is Good, he's doing it because he really had a hunch, and he really just wants us all to test it - and he's truly willing to die tomorrow if he's wrong (sadly, not caring that he would have just forced us into 2 misses)
If Scoop is Evil, he's doing it because he wanted to come strong out of the gate with an 'act'.
Frankly - to me, it comes across mostly like a Good Scoop trying to test his hunch - but I leave room for it being 'the act' - just not really getting the vibe. If it's an act, Scoop is getting good at it.
Lagom Lite wrote:Unagi wrote:Tru1cy's move has caught my eye.

He sincerely does often do the self-vote thing, as a powerless villager, since he knows that a villager dying is WAY better than a special dying (take note, Isgrimnur).
He started this day with suggesting that all of the villagers step forward - and that it would start with HIM.
He then even placed a self-vote.
Then - for some unknown reason, he makes a few more posts (that alone is strange) - catches a little more attention - things maybe slightly heat up on him, and what happens? He removes his vote for himself, and then places it on someone that is gaining in 'heat'.
Tru1cy blinked, why?
There is a chance that his original move was done to garner scans tonight, and that he is the one bad-guy that can't be scanned. There is a chance that Isgrimnur is indeed one of his partners - and they decided it would be helpful for Tru1cy to actually gain some trust by being in on the vote (if Isgrimnur is to
die-Evil, they would want to gain
something from it).
There is also a chance that Isgrimnur isn't evil - and Tru1cy just saw his chance to help move us into the night phase.
It's harder for me to figure out
why the change, if tru1cy is indeed good.
Bottom line, it seemed a little odd for the one guy that came out and wanted us to hang a Villager Today - to announce he is indeed one of those villagers, and to help fit his neck for the noose - only to reverse course as soon as another player gains a little ground.
What happened to:
tru1cy wrote:There is almost a 2-1 ratio of Special vs. Non. Which means we are twice as likely to hit a powered role versus a non powered.
...
Anyway, just my thoughts. I can self vote as I fall squarely into the non-special block
Lagom Lite wrote:Unagi wrote:Try to gage if I would rather move my vote to isg, or tru1cy.
So you're a follower rather than a leader?
Meh, probably a little of both, aren't we all?
- but, as you see - no one seems to be following my lead, and we need to reach a majority eventually. I actually have had Isgrimnur on my short list, I think before anyone else - and had the first vote on him- I only moved my vote because I felt Brendan showed his hand a little.
Lagom Lite wrote:Unagi wrote:So, no one (even with recent behavior) feels like I've got anything on Brendan?

Ahhh, I see that you found the part where I am still trying to lead.
There is a log of my reasoning in the pages that precede this. Nothing earth shattering, it's Day 1 after all.
(I find it a little disingenuous that you didn't read what transpired between Brendan and I... is he your partner Lagom?)
(perhaps I'm just going through a phase of inflated self-importance)

And I was so promptly schooled in the last game, it is much better to find an enemy than look for an innocent volunteer just to increase the odds of success later, because every lynch that fails to find an enemy helps the evil team, more in a game where there are three times the number of evil players.

The Wayne Gretzky argument is certainly a good one (and one I subscribe to, much more often then not) - but this isn't what we are talking about right now. We are talking about tru1cy making such a claim (
we should miss on a villager), which supports his MO (the villager that self-votes), and then him going not only against his MO (removing his self vote) but also against the strategy he initiated (he places his vote on you.)
I can't tell you how many games I've played where tru1cy hasn't twitch at all, while everyone around him screams for more 'activity'. That ,
on day one, he even 'had a position' to shift away from - is itself a novelty.

That's what I was saying.
We always let tru1cy live till the end, or till the end is near, on the basis of the fact that there's seldom a reason to do otherwise.
This time, for good or ill, he has given us a reason to sit up, take notice, and manage the apparent risk.

Ok, sorry - I admit it - I glossed over the good-Harvey bits it would seem - I didn't think this was one of his powers.
Each night, examines the DA files on one citizen looking for the corrupt cop - Ramirez.
whatever. I change nothing in my argument - other than our scans being split up among 3 people make 'scanning' an Evil guy pretty slim.

yes, and of course - he's so rusty, the concern is that it's going to be "for ill" (meaning we may regret it), but I admit -I do feel almost as if I've got no option.
And now, why did Remus take this moment to join me on Brendan? (I'm sure it pleases you, Remus, that your vote for Brendan gave my mind no end of concerns)

Unagi, I'm not just messing with you in regards to my vote (although that did add to the pleasure in casting it). I'm willing to lynch him. Isgrimnur or he. Either way is fine imo. If Isgrimnur gets more votes I'll jump back that way. I still have no intention of voting tru1cy today.
Scoop, instead of continuing to chase after a faulty hunch why don't you put your voice somewhere it might actually land on a bad guy?
