Now he has made it.

Cover of The Rolling Stone.

The iconic music and culture magazine is planning to feature Trump on the cover of its next issue, according to two people with knowledge of the matter.

4 years as Vice President is no guarantee you'll get the top spot if the sitting Prez doesn't run for a second term (see Humphrey, H.)

Kim Kardashian made it there first. Maybe she should run.

"President Elizabeth Warren" makes me feel all fluttery and optimistic and proud to be American.

"President Donald Trump" makes me feel like I'm in one of the darker Futurama episodes.

Yeah, I'm skeptical that it's a better launch pad than being a senator, and Warren has not signaled any interest in the presidency anyway despite a lot of encouragement. The veep speculation is wishful thinking...unless you're a Masshole who wishes that she'd spend the rest of her career in that senate seat.

I don't know that she would do it, I am only saying it would put the Democrat party in the best position to win. I guess it comes down to whether she is looking out for the good of the party or herself.

I'll be honest, President Donald Trump doesn't scare me as much as President Scott Walker, President Rick Santorum, President Mike Huckabee, President Ted Cruz, President Bobby Jindal or President Ben Carson.

Which is scenario is her looking out for the good of herself?

The one where she runs for President as a Republican ;)

The one where she sits on the sidelines.

I suspect she expects to get the nod in another election or two where she would not face any serious competition.

Two elections from now she'll be 75.

That's an unlikely scenario and not one that is being discussed at all. Continuing her work in the senate is not sitting on the sidelines.

Warren's more focused on her pet issues than on career advancement. She will do whatever she thinks will make her most effective in regulating Wall Street and reducing student loan debt. She only ran for the Senate after they refused to confirm her to lead the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau that she helped create -- revenge is sweet. If she doesn't want to be president it's because that job would get in the way of her agenda.

Hard as it is to believe there are still people in politics who care more about the good of the country than about power and glory. Those people do not become president.

Can you imagine what Rip will think of her appearance then? We'll be inundated with unflattering pictures of her because old women are ugly, apparently. Or funny looking. I'm not really sure what Rip's fascination with the appearance of old women is.

I've got a secret. I like the pictures. I think they are funny and like seeing people caught in mid motion. I think they are complimentary and show a normally serious woman in amusing ways, and reminds me that she isn't always scowling and sometimes even enjoys herself. They make me like her a bit.

Tweet from Trump:
Jeb Bush is crazy, who cares that he speaks Mexican, this is America, English !!"
Donald, you can call what you're typing English, but that doesn't make it so.

Last time I checked "Mexican" wasn't a language. Of course it helps that Trump is bi-lingual. Everything that comes out of his mouth is either nonsense or gibberish.

If he doesn't adopt this as part of a campaign drive, his campaign manager should be replaced.

No, but at this point a lot of polling is about name recognition. Cruz is such a douche bag he negates even that.
