Plankton: The Movie

Just finished Squid Game Season 2. I mostly enjoyed it, but thought it went too "hollywood blockbuster" towards the end (the big climactic scene is just flat-out bad). The new characters are great (even if a couple seem protected by plot armor) and they did a really great job building the relationships throughout. As in the first season, the games themselves are insanely tense.

Two things I didn't like and an observation:

- I never like cliffhanger endings, and this one was no different
- The whole "search party" storyline took too long and basically went nowhere.

I didn't realize until I read up after the last episode that Young-Il (the guy who betrays Gi-Hun at the end) is actually the Front Man. It was obvious that something was off about him, but I didn't recognize him from the first season.

Overall, I'd give it a B+
