Yellow River flood is a bit on the iffy side. It was deliberately caused by the Chinese troops in order to pen up the Japanese invaders, to slow them down, at least. It's drowned earth, rather than scorched earth. Official numbers and documentable numbers vary between 500K to 900K casualties outright, and refugees from 500K to 10 million. It's also said that the flood actually hastened the end of the KMT government, as the refugees blamed both the Japanese invaders and the KMT government and became fertile recruiting grounds for the upcoming Communists. It's even documented that Communist troops actually resisted attempts to repair the broken dykes after the war ended. It was definitely a dark era in Chinese history.

Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater, considered one of the best drummers in the world) plays a Hello Kitty drumset. Raining Blood on that kit was just epic.

For the record, Not only do I pronounce croissant as he does in the video, I also say it multiple times just as he does. I have no idea why. I think it's the qwah sound that gets me.

Dynaflex Power Ball Its a personal gyroscope that fits in your hand. Start it spinning and move your hand back and forth to speed it up. I think it can hit 11,000 rpm. Its used to strengthen your arm, wrist, and hands. Astronauts supposedly use them. Seems pretty cool.

"Pretty good" doesn't begin to cover this. It's probably the most amazing fan film I've ever seen. Everything is top-notch: the actors, the costumes, the cinematography, the score, the fight choreography, the make-up, the SFX. They nailed each and every one of them. No single part of it looked cheesy or amateurish. I'd love to see this become the standard for quality.

Seconded. Excellent quality, story and direction. This may make watching fan Star Wars films difficult for a while. Nothing is going to compare.

For 2 hours Ive been watching videos on China, Thailand, UK, and others street food. I was full when I started but that food has made me hungry again. It all looks SO good. Wish I could get some. If you love food Id go watch them.
