You can reveal spoilered achievements in Steam if you view 'global achievements.'

Steam achievements were not showing at all for this game. It's working after restarting steam.

Finished the campaign and this is not a wow, Coop is so quick thing. I am pretty sure you can complete the whole thing in under 6 hours if you just focus on the required objectives. I took a good bit longer than that. IU also spent a lot of time playing with invaders and invading others games. I haven't tried the propaganda missions yet, so I'll check those out and maybe do some more invading and I'll look at the achievements and see how much I care.

So a thumbs up from you folks who have put some time in the game? I'm a bit burned out on Foundation and with KCD2 not coming till Tuesday I might give SE:R a try. I did see some mention of folks having to deal with CTDs. Was that something you folks encountered?

I had one crash and one bug where I couldnt' plant a charge which kept me from progressing. I had to restart the mission. This was the first mission which is really short. If that happened in other missions that are much longer I'd be pissed.

I had a bunch of bugs in the first few hours and it has mostly smoothed out since then. There is a bit of jank with going up stairs crouched sometimes and there's a good bit of clipping with your rifle poking through walls and other barriers that may actually get you noticed. Also, don't shoot enemies through barbed wire because apparently barbed wire does a pretty good job of blocking bullets.

Propaganda missions are fun, particularly the sniping ones. They put you on a roof with like 20 enemies at range and you have two minutes to pop them all. There are others that are stealth or combat focused. I like the sniping.

If I get 300 points per unconscious enemy at the end plus 80 or more per KO, and less than 300 per kill, sleeper mode is the way to go.

It’s not my first preference. It’s due to the perverse XP incentive.

I'm not really a student of history but I'm led to believe most German soldiers were not Nazis.

There's only a few skills worth the effort and XP is actually plentiful regardless. I wouldn't suggest changing your gameplay style for extra xp. I hit max level pretty quickly and left no unconscious bodies, though a decent number of conscious bodies.

I started mixing in some unconscious takedowns because that was fun but my primary mission is killing Nazis so I wasn’t going to change that too much. If they didn’t want to be killed they shouldn’t have gotten out of bed…

The only time I'm not trying to kill a Nazi is when I'm intentionally wounding them so another Nazi tries to help and I can then kill them both.

There are rules.

I'm lovin' the maps, so far. Even if some of them seem a little too similar to earlier mission maps from the same game.

What I'm really enjoying is that they drop you into a prime sniping location right off the bat on the maps I've played so far. Map 3 being my favorite so far. A huge city map and a starting point where I wiped out close to 30 nazis AND an assassination target....all without movie out of that spot. Sure, I had to hide a few times when survivors got smart enough to walk up the stairs to see everyone around those stairs was suddenly dropping dead of lead poisoning. But that's what mines are for.

I did create an interesting perpetual motion machine on that very same map. I got two guards caught between two sabotaged generators. One would go off and they'd head that way, then the other would go off and they would turn around and head THAT way. The last I saw the, it was 4 hours later on that map and they were STILL cycling back and forth.

I finally had someone invade my game too. That was fun. Although I didn't realize they eventually just give you each other's location after a while. But by the time I realized which balcony GrenadesandHam were on, he had put a bullet in my head.

I see people saying the game is too short, but I'm wondering if they're Call of Duty speed running through maps? I'm *still* only on the second map - I've been playing it for 3 hours, slowly creeping around and doing my best to stealthily kill every Nazi I find.

I rushed through the first one. Semi rushed through the second one. Then was stopped cold by the sheer size of the third one. I think I spent close to 5 hours on that one. The starting spot alone was about a full hour of me tagging and then shooting folks halfway across the city.

I'm on the fourth one now and it reminds me a LOT of the map from the previous one set in like a small Swiss chalet kind of village. But with the addition of a giant bridge that allows me to just sit there shooting at nazi testicles and giggling like a loon.

I have 28 hours played but much of that was invading folks and replaying the missions in coop with my son and replaying the hitler mission to get achievements.

If you just play through and call it done, yes it is short. There’s lots of replayability though.

That's music to my ears, and a nice change from what they did with the last one.

Pretty much every map will also have close quarters, sneaky-sneak areas that you pretty much have to go through. Yes, there are a lot of places where you can snipe half (or more) the guys on the map but it's not going to be close to 100% long range.

Sniper Ghost Warrior games are more of that but they don't have all the other nice things that make Sniper Elite awesome.

I would hope not - 100% sniping would get dull, fast. I just wanted them to adjust the balance of the two a little from their last one (which I'd put at probably 30% sniping.)

This is where I am now. It's like...a giant playground of long-distance sniping. It's glorious. There are so many - I can't wait to see what the actual total is because as I inch across the map, more and more just keep appearing.

This English guy unlocked the Secret Police skin in mp and made a video of him just running around killing other players with an overpowered pistol, explosives, etc.. His chuckles each time he does so cracks me up.

I am enjoying this, although it's more standalone expansion to Sniper Elite 5 than a truly new installment.

I thought it was a little short but maybe that's because I put in a lot of time playing it because it's so good. It's one of the few games where I want to revisit it to collect more collectibles such as resistance posters which unlock various standalone challenges. Also, I like killing Nazis in all sorts of imaginative ways. Sniping is always fun of course but so are well laid traps.

I wasn't going to buy it because it was a full priced game for something that people have said was an expansion for Sniper Elite 5 with more of the same. But I really have no regrets because I enjoyed the hell out of the game, even more than Sniper Elite 5 which I didn't finish.

3-star on every mission, 10 invasion kills. 510 Gamer score, and I am likely done at ~39 hours.

I realized Sunday that I need to go back and replay a few missions as some of the rifles and customization stuff I want are only unlocked after completing specific tasks/challenges.

They just released another patch this morning. I haven't had any game-breaking issues, but it's good to see they're addressing some minor stuff and fixing a few things.

I'm about halfway through M4 (a return to the dam) and still enjoying it quite a bit. Definitely taking my time - just hit 10 hours so for me this game is totally worth it.
