Signature match is so idiotic. My signature can look entirely different depending on whether I’m in a hurry or not, or whether I have to sign my full name (which I never use) or not.

That said, I did make damn sure the signature on my ballot looked close to the one on my drivers license. Not that it matters voting blue in Utah.

Clark County is rather small. It has a tiny town called Las Vegas some of you may have heard of.

Christ, my signature is basically a straight line with a bump in the middle.

MIne is no better, and it most certainly different on a electronic touchpad that it was when I put it on paper for my DL something like 15 years ago. Easily a 50% chance I'd get flagged on a real signature match.

Whenever I sign something, I always issue the disclaimer "that's barely human".

There’s also the fact that a large portion of the current voting populace never signs anything outside of their driver’s license / voter registration. They don’t write checks, they don’t write letters. They write nothing at all. It’s just not something that should be viewed in any way as a verification in 2024.

Those two counties contain Vegas and Reno. Everything else in the state is tiny desert towns. In other words, Clark and Washoe represent around 90% of the state's population.

Oldest voted for the second time. Second oldest for the first. The four of us were in and out in 15 minutes. Now I'm drinking a Summit Saga from the great state of Minnesota as Tim Walz would want.

He wanted to vote for the 11 year old but I told him he can't vote for Trump.
