NIGHT CYCLE

The Fallen Brothers of Darkness felt queasy. The Blinding Light subsided and the shock ran through them...

Kelric lay slaughtered in the street... his reign of terror at a jagged end.

During the Cycle of light, a conspiracy had come forth and decided the time of Darkness must end and a return to the Light was due.

This madness must be stopped...

You would think that being one of the original fallen I would have inherited some of the power from Kelric's death but nooooo. Greedy bastage took all his power to the beyond with him curse his foul being. I never should have agreed to help off him to get it. Damn my backstabbing ways.

should change the first post to "sticky".
then put all the players in and list em as dead/alive at the top of each page automagically...

and some hot cocoa.

Genghis has claimed it is myself who needs to be killed next. Again, luckily for myself, the Morningstar named me PHAR-AOH, so whoever that Pharoah demon is, he's in trouble!

Apologies for this, but can someone write down the actual path that the game will take now? I get that someone dies during the day, and then the night, but with all these roles and such, Im rather confused as to what to expect.

Game runs like this. During the night our "village" guts someone we suspect of being a servant of the light. We make all kinds of snarky remarks at each other in hopes that one of us will reveal an association or information to help us choose the proper vitem.

During the day the well behaved and mannerly snobs of the light choose one of our brothers and cast him into the glow for some petty little crime like refering to over-weight people as fatties or killing 13 innocent children.

The roles allow folks to break the rules. Yeah rule breaking

Night's vengence gets to look at a player cross-eyed and tell then they do not look good in pink. Thus mortified the player will stumble upon their own sword and perish. Thus revealed Night's Vengence is most likely dead that following day as the light besotted can not abide someone who properly appreciates the color black.

Shadow is a little perverted(good for him) and follows one brother around during the day to check out what they do when alone. This allows him to prevent said brother from being dragged into the light. Unfortunately he doesn't get to see who tries to do the dragging, but at least no sunburn is involved.

Wraith is a copy of the Shadow but hasn't come to terms with his homosexuality and thus will remain in the closet until the demise of the Shadow.

Devil gets to find out about folks during the day. He researches the brother's and can detect the scent of coppertone better than a teenage boy on spring break in Florida. Thus being capable of determining beyond a doubt who has been tanning in the glow and who has been properly shaded. He is a bit importent for our side.

Gaurdian of Lore knows stuff. Normally we only know we have killed a lighted one or a brother of darkness by the color of their blood. This guy knows everything those who are taken beyond to be with Kelric (now there's a frightening thought) did for our village.

Demons are the basic brothers. We have no ability to break the rules but are clearly the most important role as we are so friggin cool.

Those are the dark side dudes. Now then there are four idiots in our midst.

The holy ones have spent to much time in the sun. Literally. It has burned their brains away and now they want all of us to suffer the same fate. These are the fools who drag the brothers to their doom. They need to be killed. If anyone ever deserved eternity with Kelric its these guys.

The hopefull is kind of a misnomer as the light will never triumph over the dark and thus this dude who should be a demon is the second worst kind of dullard. He doesn't even like to pull the legs off of kittens

Due to his untwisted nature he will try to assist the sunblind by keeping them hidden or misdirecting our searches or even revealing our peoples roles to them. So kinda cool because at least he's a treacherous bastard but still light adled.

The fight ends when all of the light fools are slain or when they reduce the number of true servants to the same number as themselves as they are scared to fight against greater numbers (and who can blame them really. Myself I've always thought a good knife in the back of the throat or some really exotic poison are better than any type of open fight and who cares about the numbers)

Which is why I usually start these games by killing a quiet one but there is always a run on a vocal one. Usually it doesn't come through and a quiet one will get killed, but if you guys need a killing that harms our pit as little as possible take me. Of course if I slit one of your throats on the way down you'll understand.

These three are the only ones to have posted nothing during this cycle. I will allow that it is the weekend and many folks are weekday posters so that may explain it. If by the end of workday Monday we have not actually lynched anyone and they have not spoken we choose one of them and be done with them.
