Sorry but I think Rudy has that locked up. He took down the Italian Mafia next up Clinton Mafia.
Christie will be Secretary of Dinner.
I like the title "Secretary of Dinner".

Their philosophies are opposite. Ryan is about balancing the budget through austerity while Trump would blow out the deficit with a huge stimulus plan. The Ryan budget is a recipe for recession while Trump wants to throw a boomtime party. IDK which one will get his way, but I'd bet on Ryan if only because Trump glazes over when it gets down to details while Ryan has most of the R Party on his side.
And yeah, I think flattery gets you everywhere with Trump.

Conway already showed us how she's able to handle Trump. Can't find a link to it right now but an article I read essentially says she treats him like her 11 year old daughter. Basically presenting the choices and letting Trump think he made the decision himself. Something like that is teachable or can be copied. As soon as Ryan learns the Conway mind trick Trump essentially becomes a living pen.

There isn't much evidence that Ryan (or the GOP house) actually cares about deficits. They clearly care about cutting taxes on the wealthy, and about slashing social welfare programs, but if they have to blow open the deficit to do that, that's cool. Ryan, for example, wasn't so worried about the deficit when Bush was passing his tax cuts.

Awful.
Also, I feel like I need a trigger warning before someone says "President Elect Donald Trump".

I am pretty sure the Southern Poverty Law Center is going to need to start thinking about hiring lots more people.
The phrase I've been hearing and reading pretty consistently over the last 24 hours is some variance of "We have taken America back!" with respect to our new President Elect. While I don't want to immediately lump these people with the worst of the worst, I can't help but wonder what exactly they mean (or think they mean) when saying it.

The free market has a history of regulating itself, especially for food. I mean, sure, it might take a few thousand people getting sick or dying, but the market will respond. That's how it's supposed to work! What's the health of several thousand people in the name of wasting less money on regulating?

Saw this today:
Though emblematic of our time, energy drinks aren't an invention of the new millennium. People have relied on them to combat fatigue for at least a century. Today, their "energy" typically derives from some type of neurological stimulant that makes people feel more energetic, or sometimes just sugar.
But there was a time when energy drinks actually contained real energy. The active ingredient in these drinks was radium...
...One of these energy-containing products was RadiThor. This energy drink was simply radium dissolved in water. It was sold in the 1920s in one-ounce bottles costing about US$1 each ($15 in 2016 dollars). Its manufacturer claimed the drink not only provided energy but also cured a host of ailments, including impotence. Evidence for a sexual benefit to humans was lacking, but at least one scientific paper claimed that radium water could increase "the sexual passion of water newts." For many men, in this pre-Viagra era, the water newt evidence was enough. RadiThor was a big seller.
Woot!

He has the right to protest but I don't mind calling him a misguided dick for this particular form of protest. You know Mr. Kaepernick there are other things on a ballot you can vote for, some of which may be relevant to your community or your cause. Such as...
California Proposition 57, Parole for Non-Violent Criminals and Juvenile Court Trial Requirements
The California Parole for Non-Violent Criminals and Juvenile Court Trial Requirements Initiative, also known as Proposition 57, was on the November 8, 2016, ballot in California as a combined initiated constitutional amendment and state statute. It was approved.
A "yes" vote supported increasing parole and good behavior opportunities for felons convicted of nonviolent crimes and allowing judges, not prosecutors, to decide whether to try certain juveniles as adults in court.
A "no" vote opposed this measure increasing parole and good behavior opportunities for felons convicted of nonviolent crimes and favored keeping the current system of having prosecutors decide whether to try certain juveniles as adults in court.
Or...
California Proposition 62, Repeal of the Death Penalty
California Proposition 62, the Repeal of the Death Penalty Initiative, was on the November 8, 2016, ballot in California as an initiated state statute. It was defeated.
A "yes" vote supported repealing the death penalty and making life without the possibility of parole the maximum punishment for murder.
A "no" vote opposed this measure repealing the death penalty.
There was another death penalty related measure, Proposition 66, that appeared on the November 8, 2016, ballot in California. If both measures pass, the one with the most "yes" votes would supersede the other.
Or...
California Proposition 55, Extension of the Proposition 30 Income Tax Increase
The California Extension of the Proposition 30 Income Tax Increase Initiative, also known as Proposition 55, was on the November 8, 2016, ballot in California as an initiated constitutional amendment. It was approved.
A "yes" vote supported extending the personal income tax increases on incomes over $250,000 approved in 2012 for 12 years in order to fund education and healthcare.
A "no" vote opposed extending the personal income tax increases on incomes over $250,000 approved in 2012 for 12 years, allowing the tax increase to expire in 2019.
The measure was designed to allocate about 89 percent of revenue from the tax increase to K-12 schools and 11 percent to state community colleges. It was also designed to allocate an additional $2 billion in certain years to Medi-Cal and other health programs.[1]
I figured a fat cat QB like himself would be against more taxes on his income.
Probably didn't have time to read the sample ballot with all the play time he has going on.

Moscow had contacts with Trump team during campaign, Russian diplomat says
Russian government officials conferred with members of Donald Trump’s campaign team, a senior Russian diplomat said Thursday, a disclosure that could reopen scrutiny of the Kremlin’s role in the president-elect’s bitter race against Hillary Clinton.
The statement came from Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, who said in an interview with the state-run Interfax news agency that “there were contacts” with the Trump team.
“Obviously, we know most of the people from his entourage,” Ryabkov said.
“We have just begun to consider ways of building dialogue with the future Donald Trump administration and channels we will be using for those purposes,” Ryabkov was quoted as saying.
Ryabkov provided no further details, and his remarks drew a swift denial from Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks, who said the campaign had “no contact with Russian officials” before Tuesday’s election.
Nevertheless, the assertion from Moscow attracted attention from national security experts after a presidential campaign that the Kremlin, according to U.S. officials, sought to influence in unprecedented ways.

Wife told me today that Trump ejected the press pool from his plane, breaking the tradition that a press representative always accompanies a president or president-elect when traveling.
