The Shawshank Redemption: The poignant "Brooks was here" scene, in which the elderly ex-con etched his final message to the world using his pocket knife, prior to committing suicide by hanging himself (rope).

As the movie wraps up, Red remembers his promise to Andy, and finds the important letter (and money) Andy had left for him at the hidden cache, allowing them to reunite.

OK, I really loved the reach on "The Shop Around the Corner" (and that's a favorite movie of mine as well) but I'm going to go with Clue and EH3K.
