And you haven't played SWAT 4 with us online because...?$iljanus wrote:Are you in my head or something?!?CharlieDelta wrote:Busy weekend for me. I'll be putting the finishing touches on my SWAT 4 Campaign in SP, Playing some co-op with some OOers (Hopefully) and maybe some public VIP. I'll keep plugging away at Silent Hunter III, prowling the atlantic in search of something REALLY big to destroy, and I just picked up Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, so I'll probably start that too.
I'm playing SWAT4 and would like to get some Silent Hunter III in as well since I just upgraded to a Type VII-B sub. And when I was ordering SWAT4, there was a sale at Gogamer on Splinter Cell Chaos Theory so I picked that up as well.
GET...OUT...OF...MY...HEAD!!!
Alternately, if you ever want to give Chaos theory co-op a whirl, you know where to find me.

The game just arrived on Wed and I wanted to go through a few missions on my own. However, I'm game for some multiplayer now. It's a beautiful weekend here in the DC area so I'll be going back out shortly but I'm available to kill some criminals, umm I meant apprehend criminals, during the evenings and next week!CharlieDelta wrote:$iljanus wrote:Are you in my head or something?!?CharlieDelta wrote:Busy weekend for me. As for Chaos Theory, I'm not even touching it till I finish Splinter Cell Pandoras Box or whatever it's called. My hard drive space is getting a little tight these days. But I'm halfway through Pandoras Box and looking forward to Chaos Theory since it looks pretty cool.

Guild Wars was the first thing I fired up this morning, and I'm really impressed with how far it has come along since the first open beta test.
I'll be playing Jade Empire some more when I get home from work tonight, though. I am weak, and its kung-fu is strong.
I'd like to squeak some WoW in there somewhere, but I doubt I'll have time.

Now that I'm done with WoW I'm working my way through Riddick on the PC. I'm loving it!
I'm also about 3 hours into Gothic II and it's quite cool so far.
I played a little Animal Crossing on the GameCube. I'm fishing and catching flies like a madman. I may fire up Zelda Wind Waker if the bug hits me and the wife needs the puter for schoolwork.

I played the game that's in setaside's tag but that he's admitted that he doesn't even have installed. Fortunately it showed up USPS in a trade with Mith today. Even better than the original (incrementally).setaside wrote:I also need to reinstall Freedom Force vs The Third Reich but I'm not sure I'll get to that this weekend.
Woot!

i played Silent Hunter III for a while this evening and completed my 6th mission. unfortunately, my crew and i had to spend the christmas holiday patrolling the waters northwest of ireland (grid AM13)...the farthest they had journeyed from home so far. we made the best of our situation though, and left a little over 35,500 tons of allied ships and cargo at the bottom of the atlantic before returning home to wilmhelmshaven. we leave for our next assignment on january 8th, 1940 and travel to grid BE26...right in the middle of several major shipping lanes WSW of ireland, and outside of allied air cover. it should be another productive outing 8)

It was the 12th or 13th mission. The goal is to build up your hoard to 5000, attract 50 pirates, and get their happiness to 66%. You start with only one ship and a very poor layout -- I demolished and rebuilt a dock to avoid having to split my service district. It's hard to get enough slaves, and impossible to prevent a few escapes. On my third try, I made a couple of early raids that yielded 6+ captives instead of the usual 2-3, and that was the edge I needed to pass the level. Very challenging. The few missions left after that one are easier.Kelric wrote:Which mission are you on Ironrod? I was replaying it but stopped a few weeks ago as I got distracted. I didn't have a plan, but I played KOTOR 2 all weekend. Pretty fun even though I STILL don't have a lightsaber yet.
The crafting stuff seems interesting, but I'm saving all my resources for when I get farther along. No need to make grenades or whatever when I can make cool weapon upgrades later!

There is no hug button. Sad!
