I feel a little sheepish for making that draw. Happy, but sheepish. Good game, Ninyu.

No worries. My own fault for going all in with just top pair top kicker. Especially with a possible straight there. That's poker though

Edit: Good game everyone! (where are my manners?)

Honestly when I made the 1000 bet I figured to scare you out unless you had the straight. Worked out for me but....

No problem, you are in under the 48 hour window easily. I almost missed it once just because I wasn't paying attention.

It may or may not be "bad" poker, but it's certainly permissible. You're right that it gives an advantage to one of the remaining players still in the hand (Remus if I'm concerned about a bet from him; me, if I'm planning a check-raise), but it's not clear-cut which player that'd be. And it is an action which takes place in NLHE in all its venues.

Considering your typical forum timing (compared to the rest of the table), I wouldn't sweat it. In the future, you may wish to consider giving LM conditional actions/reactions (I think he said he'd be okay with those).

It's fully permissible to give me conditionals, like check or fold to any bet or even something more complex. But it's fully within the scope of the game to fold in turn without a bet. I personally don't recommend it but I be puzzled by it in a live game more rather than annoyed. I've had several conditionals sent my way already.
