They should just call this bundle what it is: the FU Trump Bundle
That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons bring us some web forums whereupon we can gather

i have like a third of the games on there, there's another third i don't care about, and i don't really have the bandwidth to play the remaining third, but will purchase anyways because ACLU donation. (and i can *finally get The Witness and Stardew Valley, at any rate)Kasey Chang wrote:I am kinda tempted by the Freedom Bundle even though I already have like 5-6 of the games in the list.

Ordered new PC, need new game to really push it.
Sometimes my brain works and thinks to look for slightly obvious things, like will they tell me when I will be billed again. 3/31. OK, plenty of time to cancel once I see the new reveal...Smoove_B wrote:My first purchase was last month (for XCOM2) and I went with the month-to-month subscription. I just checked and it appears I will be charged again Friday (2/24), at which point I own the Warhammer game and would then be waiting for info on what's next. I guess I could pay it early (I saw the option) but I was honestly considering cancelling it as I'm already overloaded with games. But man, $12 is bananas.
When I signed up for it, it said you need to cancel a week before you are rebilled, so I would be careful with that.Zenn7 wrote:Sometimes my brain works and thinks to look for slightly obvious things, like will they tell me when I will be billed again. 3/31. You're right - I didn't pick up on that, but it's in the FAQ:Jag wrote:When I signed up for it, it said you need to cancel a week before you are rebilled, so I would be careful with that.
How do I cancel?
You can cancel your membership at any time, but you’ll need to cancel at least a week before new content unlocks to avoid subscribing and paying for the next month.
I thought of that as well, but it's probably just easier to quit a week in advanceIsgrimnur wrote:I'm sure that there are consumer protection agencies that would love to take issue with them on that. Or perhaps a number of credit card chargebacks, especially if it's not clearly called out in the terms when you agree.
I was just wondering why I haven't gotten a email with the next month subscription games listed. I signed up for 3 months at a time, just because I like humble bundle.Smoove_B wrote:My first purchase was last month (for XCOM2) and I went with the month-to-month subscription. I don't recognize anything except Xcom 2, which is why I subscribed. Perhaps it's time to go exploring.Defiant wrote:Nice selection this month. Almost all the games had been on my wishlist. Here’s what’s in the Humble Bundle Monthly for February 2017:
XCOM 2 (Steam)
Ryse: Son of Rome (Steam)
ABZU (Steam)
SteamWorld Heist (Steam)
Okhlos (Steam)
Project Highrise (Steam)
Husk (Steam)
Oh, Deer! (Humble Original)
HollowKnight (Demo)
If you subscribe to a mulit-month discount thing (think 3 months is only $11.50/month), could you take this month, pause - unpause when there's a game you want, pause again and unpause when there's another game you want?Z-Corn wrote:They let me put my subscription on pause...

Steamworld Heist is awesome. It's kind of like 2D sidescroller Xcom. My proudest moment in the game was pulling off this ricochet shot.GreenGoo wrote:I don't recognize anything except Xcom 2, which is why I subscribed. The thing that kind of turned me off from this game was trying to figure out how the bad guys could apparently shoot me thru floors, yet I couldn't do the same.Lordnine wrote:Steamworld Heist is awesome. You should definitely check it out if you like turn-based tactical combat.
That sounds too awesome to be true.Lordnine wrote:

Huh....could have sworn an enemy would shoot me from below and I would return fire, only to have it bounce off the floor he just shot me thru.Lordnine wrote:Same rules apply to you as enemies. Floors with the red top can be shot through, the rest cannot. Also, you can only shoot through things like barrels and boxes if you are right next them (using them as cover), otherwise the object will take damage until it breaks.
I don't think it's anything like Shadows, primarily because Ryse is purely on rails where Shadows is open world. Shadows is more like the Batman Arkham games with some nice innovation (Nemesis system, etc). Ryse is just a short, nice looking ARPG-lite.GreenGoo wrote:I thought Ryse was one of those little indie gladiator games but it appears (according to the video I watched) that it's Shadow of Mordor set in the Roman Era. Which might be cool. It looked pretty good anyway.
I think Ryse was the Xbox One launch day system seller. The system didn't sell, so make your own conclusion.GreenGoo wrote:I thought Ryse was one of those little indie gladiator games but it appears (according to the video I watched) that it's Shadow of Mordor set in the Roman Era. It’s possible you were using an explosive based weapon. Rockets and grenades (and a couple of the special items) behave differently than normal weapons. A good way of learning the system is to keep a weapon with a scope so you can see how projectiles will fire and bounce around the terrain.stimpy wrote:Huh....could have sworn an enemy would shoot me from below and I would return fire, only to have it bounce off the floor he just shot me thru.Lordnine wrote:Same rules apply to you as enemies. I'll have to look closer at the structure.
Google has been kind enough to move these emails into the promo folder, which I never look at. So this is on me, not Humble Bundle.GreenGoo wrote: I was just wondering why I haven't gotten a email with the next month subscription games listed.
Surrrre you don't.GreenGoo wrote:Google has been kind enough to move these emails into the porno folder, which I never look at.GreenGoo wrote: I was just wondering why I haven't gotten a email with the next month subscription games listed.
Holy crap, I stand corrected. They'll give you a $5 credit to buy something else if you bought the Freedom bundle. Well played, Humble. It even works if you pay early. You get the choice when you go to the page for your key.JetFred wrote:Alright, I'm genuinely annoyed that the early title for next month is The Witness when that was the game that made Humble's $30 charity bundle last month a good deal.
Sorry... I had meant to do that if I ever signed up.JetFred wrote:Remember that if you plan to jump in for the first time for The Witness, one of us already in the thing can get a $5 credit for referring you.
Go to Purchases and then to March 2017 Humble Monthly. I see it as a steam key.Alefroth wrote:Oh man, Warhammer isn't a Steam unlock. That's disappointing.
And there doesn't seem to be download link for it. The download link in the email just takes me to the bundle page where all the games are, but no link or key for Warhammer. Anyone else able to get it?
