I buy online from a place in TX. TX is like a days drive from me. They are supposed to have 2-3 shipping and most times do. Once I got it in 2 days. But more than once now its 5 days later. Like I ordered last Friday and today Wednesday its STILL in TX. And they use USPS too so only Sunday wont count. Really pisses me off. This time it looks like 6 - 8 days. Ive woke up expecting it for two days now. I get so mad that it ruins my whole day. Wish I could just sleep all day.

Also I hate when dust builds up on the bottom of house slippers. They start collecting dust and then collect more and more until you start finding little black dime and quarter sized pieces in the floor that feel like flat rubber that have stuck and fallen off. The you gotta get a damn paper towel and scrub your slippers or go outside and dampen them and scuff it off on a rough surface like a sidewalk. But once they get worn and have a hole in them you cant do either. Then ya gotta buy new.

I'm finally able to access it today. Didnt do anything on my end, so not sure what the issue was.

Again with my order ans shipping. Both places USPS and the company have removed all arrival dates. I orded on the 4th but my bank was not charged until the 7th.

This is the f'n crazy shipping. Its just bouncing around Houston TX.

You can clearly see it has bounced between two buildings. That top one is north Houston and it took from 3am to 4:30pm to go to Houston. So across town it took 13.5 hours! Do these idiots get paid by the mile or something? I could have driven to TX myself, spent the weekend and still got home 2 days before even today.

I have Amazon Prime so supposedly 2 days shipping. They are usually good for it. But if I order this from them they then order it or something from that TX company and they ship it. So it doesn't help. Craziest shit.

It hasn't bounced back and forth, it was just delayed between different scans. That is just how shipping works now. I see it all the time.

I wrote that well guy a $200 check last month. But he still hasn't cashed it.I have to keep that $200 in the bank and keep it for worry he'll suddenly find his check and go to the bank and overdraw me. I have $12 to spend now until Dec. That money is tempting me SO bad. I need to use it. But both times Ive spoken to the place they haven't mentioned the check. So I cant have a clue when he will case it. I really need that money but if it bounces for them then Im hit with a fee and they'll be mad it bounced.

I may call and ask them about it. If they've lost it they'll want another one then I have no idea if someone may find that check fraudulently and cash it and hit me with it. I dont know how to cancel a lost check if they did.

I wrote that company a hot note about their awful shipping. They wrote back blaming USPS and talking about the awful people that work there. Nice.

Its STILL SITTING at that spot in TX. Has been there unmoving since 4pm yesterday. This is unacceptable. I wonder if I can get a response from USPS? It was due Tuesday...its Thursday tomorrow and then Friday and it probably still wont be here.

No, you can't. The best you can do is file a help request

I live in the middle of nowhere, so I have to order a lot of things online that other people can buy in person. The experience you are having isn't typical, but it's still an experience I regularly have. It's not unusual at all, and the USPS (and UPS, and FedEx, and...) gets thousands of calls per day by people angry about the state of shipping. Most likely is that the post office got backed up and the bin your package is in got shunted off to the side. Or it fell out of the bin it was supposed to be in and got set aside to handle later. But in the end, all you can do is twiddle your thumbs, file the report, and wait.

I've actively stopped checking when things are supposed to be delivered. It helps me keep my blood pressure down.

Ive not been happy with the high from Delta 8 thc or Delta 9 thc.Ive tried flower, gummies, and vape. The high is kinda annoying and leg weakening'ish but not too fun. Im not sure if my memories of pot highs being great is just memories from my teens in the 1980s or if they were great to me then.

Im worried it may be what Im trying. TN doesn't have legal full weed and they can only sell a limited product list and then only THC high inducing stuff using loopholes. So maybe Im just getting shit products or Ive not found the right one. You always have to pic indica or sativa then stuff like mango or grape or some such when it never tastes like cept gummies. Then there are strengths and such.

The high is not fun or happy like I think it should be. More weak feeling in my body and a bit of head high and some nervousness. No smile, no hunger, a little dry mouth.

That scene was actually the genesis of the idea (and figuring out what he was actually saying was how I learned about "Sunday gravy" way back when).

I was talking about it with a friend a few days ago, and mentioned how I've always been tempted to try literal "macaroni and gravy." Her response was "Dooo it. And send pictures." So I did, but I upgraded the pasta and added some cheese curds to get pasta poutine instead of just macaroni and gravy.

I regret nothing.

Well after waiting nearly 2 weeks for my EBT and Friday it appears Ill be waiting another day after that thanks to the heavy rain from the storm thats coming Friday all day. Seeing weirdness with my affairs sometimes lol. I listed an item on Ebay a few days back and I saw it listed. But for the last couple days I cant find it at all. Its like its gone.

Now I got an email last night of $20 being donated to my GoFundme. I went today to transfer it to my bank because I could use it this weekend to buy some food items. I cant find it anywhere on my GFM and its not been transferred to my bank . Its like it never existed either. Strangeness.

Still no package. And no tracking update. The one they added yesterday simply said moving and arriving late. But it didn't add a time, location, or due to arrive date. I dont think they've done a thing. And I know it wont move or arrive tomorrow cause its Veterans Day. If I dont get it by Monday or see an shipping update Im going to ask the company to reship my order because this one is lost.

Despite what you might have heard, there are still shipping/delivery issues nationwide. My packages from UPS are routinely delayed by a day or two and sometimes sit at "label created" for a week. It's just the nature of things now.

Once it goes into 'late' status, you don't get much info.

Once the shipping crisis started, every major shipping company changed their tracking by reducing the public-facing details. They got tired of people calling and yelling for things that were out of their control (and for those that weren't), so they just started hiding all but the most essential updates. Try your tracking number in one of these instead. They sometimes give better info:

Lately my problems that cause me stress and worry have invaded my dreams. The car needs headlights, the ac is broke, and now the engine is idling high and cause problems when I start out and put it in gear. So in my dreams I dream of it with one of more of those problems. Or like last night dream of a homemade go cart with those problems nearly killing me.

Or a myriad of other real life stuff is in my dreams now. Its making me worse. Theres nothing I can do for a couple years and that also hits me in my dreams. Fun....Im sick awake and now sick in sleep.

Or just learn it to think before it speaks and to keep its hands to itself and not cut in line and use its turn signals...

And something that is new to me. Drive with some sort of lights on when there is morning fog ferchrisake. I've been out on mornings where visibility was less than 4 seconds at 40 MPH and a full half the cars on the road are driving with no headlight, running lights, or fog lights and some of them are out there blowing red lights and making rights at red with oncoming traffic. Talk about car jerks!

No its not the trans. Its the engine. Usually when I start my car it will start and go to like 2000 rpms and then gradually drop to barely under 1000. Thats normal and no problems. But for the last couple weeks it starts then revs to 2500 and sits there and sits there and finally maaaay drop to around 2100 rpms. Thats too high. So when I have no choice but to put it in gear the trans will give a loud THUNK cause the engine is rev'd too high. Im afraid its going to damage my trans.

Not to even mention once in gear its trying to already move or push me. I was in wet grass the other day when I had to leave so once in gear even me holding the brakes hard it spun the rear wheels until I move off the grass. Its dangerous. My driveway is basically grass and sloped downhill and now has leaves and wet leaves in it. So its actually sliding all the way to the road. If someone is coming they will tear the front end of my car off or Ill simply slide across the road into the ditch.

Sometimes after the car warms up it will drop to a lower idle. Sometimes not. When Im in a parking spot and need to leave I have to start it and as fast as I can throw it in gear to back up before it can get even higher. I scared the crap out of someone behind me the other day and it jerked backwards before I could hit the breaks. They thought I was gonna get them.

Its both scary and dangerous. But I have no idea how to lower the idle or why now its chosen to start doing this.

EDIT: And no dummy light like a check engine one is on. the only dummy light on is a brake light. It thinks a brake or emergency break is on...but its not.

Went out between rain and took a good look at the car. Still idles high on start when I first started it. I looked at the MAF. Seems still connected good. Its possible its dirty because its been on and in use for at LEAST 12 years now...maybe longer. Could use a cleaning but Im hesitant to even try fooling with that as I dont want to have to replace it unless I had to. Had MAF trouble in one of our Trans-Ams that was NEVER diagnosed by 4 shops and we just let the damn check engine light stay on for 8 more years.

Im kinda leaning to it being the idle air control valve. I pulled its plug and started the car. Wouldn't idle at all of course without me holding the gas pedal a bit. Would die if not held. I reconnected it and it was a little lower on the next start. I unplugged it again and replugged it and started and the idle was like 1500 and then dropped to normal. Restart same thing. But it did still jump to 2100 once on start.

So thinking it may be that IAC. Its in a hard to reach place so thats another mechanic visit....someday. I started it at least 8 more times and every time it idled correctly coming to rest at 900. So either fooling with the IAC proves its that or the car just warmed up enough to straighten itself out...or both.

Next time I go town...tomorrow...Ill restart it a few times when I get there to see how it idles when hot compared to when I exit the stores.
