Anyone have a Galaxy light projector? Thought it might help me sleep. Toss on some Witcher 3 Blood & Wine music and sounds with the lighting and was thinking maybe I could sleep really good. Or stay awake staring at the lights all night :)

No. Generally, less light and white noise are better for sleep than music and flashing lights. I have blackout curtains, I have covered or dimmed my LEDs. It is pitch black at night, and still very dark during the day until I open the curtains. For sound I play white noise (well, rain and crickets) through an old phone hooked up to an old set of computer speakers.

I use a big fan in wintertime for the noise and I like the air blowing on me. My CPAP make noise too.
In the summer I got my air conditioner.

1. Why the fuck do some women's athletic outfits expose their abdomens, while traditional men's certainly do not? Do women breathe through their stomachs or something? Has this biological fact been hidden from me all my life? Was I absent the day it was discussed in science class?

2a. Why are the daily soup(s) offered by many diners and lunch spots so boring and basic? Who's ever been excited to order a bowl of beef barley?

2b. Why is the combo pie offered at all the diners in my folks' town always and only coconut cream? Is it especially inexpensive to bake?

3. I'm half a cultural chicken and have never given Thai food a fair try, but we got a fast casual place next door and I'm really loving its pad see ew as well as a beef stir fry I ordered with spicy peanut sauce. I know it's not totally authentic, but whatevs.

I saw a commercial on late night TV. It said, "Forget everything you know about slipcovers." So I did. And it was a load off my mind. Then the commercial tried to sell me slipcovers, and I didn't know what the hell they were. -- Mitch Hedberg

I have one of these Sky Lites. We stayed at an Airbnb that had one and I found it soothing, so Wife got me one for my birthday. I keep my office dim, and it's nice to have a colorful night sky overhead. I prefer a blue-green nebula with just a bit of red and only a smattering of faint stars.

Which is better -- to be the least of the Hemsworth brothers or the least of the Baldwin brothers?

My bias may be clear from the other thread, but Hemsworth hands down. Luke Hemsworth is unconventionally handsome and secretly the best-looking of the Hemsworths. And he's ten times as handsome as Stephen Baldwin. In terms of aspects of life beyond physical appearance, I have no idea. At least Luke's brother never shot anybody (that we know of).

Its really is a classic. Soon as I hear it Im back there in the 80s and all those memories of the time.

Too bad they didn't get Rosanna for the video. But that IS Cynthia Rhodes & Patrick Swayze in the music video who would again dance together in Dirty Dancing.

On a serious note regarding the insanely talented Skarsgårds: is it just me, or does Stellan still have an accent in any role he does, while his kids seem able to talk without any sign of one in any movie in which they play an American? You'd think as many years as Stellan has been in films and tv shows that he'd have the same ability.
