Sporks still exist? News to me. I don't think I've seen one in the last 30 or 40 years.

Taco Bell still gave them out but a few years ago. Not sure if they still do. I haven't been in some time.

I must say for all my glass half empty way of being that the world is an amazing place these days. I can sit here at my computer an place an order for food or an item and it be here on my porch in 30 minutes to 2 days. Thats just crazy. If you tried to explain this to someone in the past it would not sink in. My wife has been gone but 4 years but even she would be amazed at the food & item delivery abilities of a modern household.

I gotta make a mental note not to buy canned smoked oysters with carrot, onion and chili peppers again. Damn things are HOT. Thought they'd put reaper pepper in them. Ive never once had chili pepper that damn hot. To some it may not be so hot..to others they might find it more hot than me....me I like hot food just if it adds flavor...not PAIN. These things like 2 of them burn for 10 minutes from tongue down the throat. Never again.

I got a 10 pack of these little 10oz Dr Pepper cans. They are so cute. I know coke also makes little 5oz or so mini cans too. I can remember far enough back to cokes being in 6oz bottle then 8oz bottles. Im pretty sure SS Kresge sold their counter cokes as either 8oz or 12oz..they were small but back then that was normal size. Then cokes went to 12oz then 16oz...now some are 24oz 36oz or 44oz. Big changes over the years.

Just got up myself. First thing I did was order my groceries for the week, plus my lunch. Now I have to wait 2-3 hours but I'm hungry now!

The only good thing I can say about the mini-cans is that they are just the right size for using as mix. I wouldn't buy them just for drinking, but I've bought mini-cans of tonic water to make G&Ts.

You are also paying for the cuteness. If I recall, they usually cost about twice as much per ounce as regular size cans.

I stopped posting girl sexy stuff many years ago but I still enjoy viewing stuff myself. I found this amazing youtube channel that all it is is pretty girls in beautiful clothes. Each video is narrated by a female voice and goes through clips of girls showing off different outfits and themselves Im sure. Girls these days have no modesty lol. Its complete NON nude and really doesn't even come close to a line. I find the styles and girls all amazing. Id buy some of this stuff for my wife if she were still with me.

So if you like pretty stuff and might even get ideas for new clothes or something for you significant other then try the channel.

Its not nsfw for anyone really though theres always someone that might feel otherwise.

Sylvia FR
Spoiler:
EDIT: The thumbnails are the worst part of the site. They are all sexy butt pics usually but the videos themselves have none of that in them......that Ive seen.

I went to Dollar Tree the other day just to impulse buy. And BTW everything in there is $.25 now. Their name is out of date already. I suspect in the future a store will be names $20 Heaven and people will find it a bargain store. I have no doubt in that other than the name.

Anyways I purchased two of the most useful kitchen utensils Ive ever gotten. A wooden spatula and a splatter screen. The wooden spatula is just that and has a edge to it. Its for using and scrapping my cast iron skillets with so not to damage them any further . The screen is just a window like screen big and round in a metal frame with a handle. Its about 12" around as it bigger than my 10" skillet. They had then in different sizes. This this is a God send for frying stuff or boiling tomato sauces.

All for $2.50 + tax. Amazing. Why didn't I try these before??

Splatter screens are good but tomato sauce just explodes all over the place...I only make it in a pot with a lid.

Anyone get that sharp pain in their lower right side abdomen when they breath in after sitting a spell? Always heard it was a muscle under your lung. The cure is to take in a big quick deep breath of air. Clears it every time.

I just had one of those pains and cleared it like that after sitting. Im reminded of the first time that ever happened to me each time.

I was in Jr High English class sitting hunched over at a shared table with my friend and others. Had that first pain and scared me. I didn't know what to do. Breathing in made it hurt. Do I raise my hand and look like an idiot or what. Thats when my friend noticed and asked what was wrong. When I told him and described it he said just breath in deep and fast and it will fix it. Sure enough that was it. Always has fixed it. Something about a muscle, maybe your diaphragm, being under your lung or something.

Ive never forgotten that day. And each time it happens I see it again in my head lol. Thanks buddy.

Target strikes me as a very slightly upscale Walmart. From the products Im looking at they run 0.20 cents higher each time. Oh and they are an orange red instead of blue lol. And further away.

Way back in the before times and before I passively was trying to control my health and weight, I saved all my excess napkins from carry out/fast food. I just hated to waste them. I don't know if they still do it or not but they used to put like 10+ napkins in a bag for everything I bought. Get one small breakfast sandwich, and here a week's worth of napkins to go with that, in case the sandwich explodes in to a million pieces and you start choking and spit up everywhere. I had stacks and stacks and stacks of napkins that just didn't feel right to go into a landfill with no purpose but to pointlessly line the side of a paper bag of a sandwich that didn't even need one to consume. Today, I ran out.

There is a certain dread and horror when flushing a toilet and seeing the water continue to rise. Will it recede? Will it overflow? I’m at Chili's and flushed the urinal that refused to shut off. I just stood there, not fully repackaged, and watched as the water spilled over the lip of the urinal. I told the manager and returned to my $5 Modelo.

Is Grubhub just like Doordash? Ive only used Doordash but my Prime Amazon is offering me a free year of Grubhub and if I sign up now I get a 2nd free year of no fees and special offers. I am not sure what the hidden catch is here. Maybe less services or less coverage or some kinda thing where I have to buy a 3rd year.

The biggest catch seems to be that Grubhub is kind of a shitty company. They were sued last year by the Disctrict of Columbia over things like hidden fees tacked on top of the disclosed fees. My baseline assumption for all these gig companies is that they're kind of shitty, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

DC sues Grubhub for allegedly employing deceptive practices
The attorney general of Washington, D.C. announced Monday he is suing Grubhub, alleging that the company harmed consumers during the pandemic by charging hidden fees and by misleading consumers about them using so-called “dark patterns” — along with a battery of other claims.

The food-delivery service, which grew in prominence over the pandemic as in-person dining shifted to takeout and delivery orders, said in response Monday that the company supports DC restaurants and has sought to work with Racine’s office over the past year to address its concerns.

“We are disappointed they have moved forward with this lawsuit because our practices have always complied with DC law,” a Grubhub spokesperson told CNN. “Many of the practices at issue have been discontinued. We will aggressively defend our business in court and look forward to continuing to serve DC restaurants and diners.”
Heh, "Sure, we were doing all that stuff until you caught us, but we've changed."

I'd imagine that Amazon is paying Grubhub to cover at least some of their lost revenue from the comped subscription fees, and Grubhub will still make some money from you when you used them. Amazon benefits because it's one more hook to encourage people to keep their Prime memberships active for another couple of years (if you drop the Prime membership, you lose the free Grubhub+ membership).
