Just think, we were less than 5 feet from a world without his shitty music. :(
The most annoying thing is that he dragged at least one musician and a camera operator along with him on his stunt, but none of the articles even mention them.

What in the general fuck? I placed an order for groceries like I have been doing online with my local walmart. The guy comes puts them on the porch and drives off. I go out to get my stuff and its not mine. The whole order is not my food. Nothing it is what I placed an order for.

So now I got a porch of food and nothing I wanted. I call wallmart quickly thinking they can just send him back and fix it..my food is either in his car or at the other persons house.
NOPE..I get Indians at wallmartDOTcom and they say they are in my home town..bs.

In the end they refunded my EBT food stamp card for my order and told me to keep all the stuff he left on the porch. Its mine now. Buncha breakfast stuff like sandwiches in boxes and a case of 60 eggs. My good who orders 60 eggs. They are going to be disappointed if they get my order of 12 eggs.

Lemme take a pic of this mes lol....free food. Now I gotta reorder. What if they f up again? More free food? This could go one in a circle forever lol.

AND they gave me $15 in bonus for the trouble. Wow. Profit. Hope the person ordered something to drink. I still haven't got it all in yet. Typing this all up in the middle of it all.

Sounds like a blessing for someone scraping by. 60 eggs is only a month's worth of eggs if you eat two a day, which I would do in heartbeat if that was what the main food that was in my house. If you're a family of four, that could be a week and a half's worth of cooking or breakfast. Eggs last long enough that I get 18x5 from Kroger when they go on sale for $1.49. That's 90 eggs and they last a couple of months, which eggs in the fridge do. Smoove will not convince me otherwise.

Score! They likely did the same thing to the other customer - told them to keep it. The delivery driver, on the other hand, is going to have a very bad day.

It's food. They can't do anything but throw it away once it's been outside of their control (that's not the law in most places, but it's often policy for liability reasons.) Turn it around - a stranger has your food for an hour. Do you know who they are and what they did with it? And since they can't sell it, they'd literally be paying someone to come pick it up, which would also delay other orders. They're saving money by just letting you keep it.

I've had a few delivery mishaps with Instacart, and that all sounds about par for the course. If anything is missing from an order, I just report it and they have always refunded the price (by default as a credit to my account, but I believe I can request an actual refund to my credit card if I want). If they deliver something I didn't order, they just say to keep it because it isn't worth the time and effort for them to have someone come and pick it up. One of my very first orders at the beginning of the pandemic came with an entire bag of stuff from someone else's order. I still have half a bottle of free Montreal Chicken Spice from that delivery.

Is sitting on chairs in your driveway a "thing" someplace? Maybe it has to do with lack of front porches? I find it sort of odd, I don't really want to interact with my neighbors or feel like they're watching me come and go. Kind of feels nosy to me.

I see a number of garages with chair facing the street when I walk. Sometimes there are people sitting in them just watching the cars go by.

Theres a older couple down the road that has chairs in their carport and they sit out there on nice days. They've done it for decades.

When we moved in, there was a pretty old couple that lived across the street. For about 10 years, if you stepped outside on a nice day you would see Mr.Ed, a tall skinny old man, sitting outside by his front door in a patio chair - looking out at the street.

He died about 3 years ago, and about a year later his wife moved out. Since then a young family moved in with 2 young kids. This Halloween they put a skeleton in a patio chair, sitting outside by their front door. I honestly gasped when I first stepped outside and saw it. (then ran to show the wife and kids)

The neighbor across the street from us at our old house used to sit in his driveway with headphones on listening to jazz while smoking a cigar. He called it his getaway from "the witch" (his wife).

I have notoriously hard to find veins, so every time I have to get blood drawn for an exam it takes them multiple tries. Sometimes they even have to use a vein on top of my hand...which really hurts. :(

If you haven't already done so, consider requesting a PICC Line or Hickman Line from your oncologist and/or primary care physician:

PICC Line - OncoLink.org
Hickman Line - OncoLink.org

Because central lines like these are mighty useful if/when your veins are hard to locate or put an IV into, and can be used for chemo (or other cancer therapies), antibiotics, IV fluids, IV nutrition, taking blood for tests, and so on. Suffice to say, if you have a PICC Line or Hickman Line, it will basically eliminate the kind of painful and frustrating situation you describe here.

They do have their own set of issues, of course, ranging from higher risk of infection to pain from the port itself. My wife still has her port in from her chemo (hopefully coming out quite soon), and it's uncomfortable on good days, painful on bad days. Still worth discussing - just adding some context.

So I'm waiting on a SQL query to finish and I start reading Yahoo News. I notice an article with the headline "Will Smith's Team Responds to Accusations That The Actor Bottoms". I think "that can't be what I think it is, can it?" and open it up. Sure enough, it is. With an "eyewitness" claiming
"I opened the door to Duane’s dressing room, and that’s when I see Duane having * sex with Will. There was a couch, and Will was bent over the couch, and Duane was standing up killing him, murdering him. It was murder in there."
Wondering who the hell this Duane was, I read the rest of the article and find out it's Duane Martin...which does not help me as I still don't know who this is. So I google the name and open his wiki page. Under personal information, I come across this gem:

Ah, wikipedia....you are a harsh mistress.

Apparently Smith and/or his wife are talking about taking legal action against the person who told the tale. Assuming they're considering that course of action because they believe that allegations of gay sex will harm his image, perhaps someone should explain the Streisand Effect to them.

Also, this is most likely bullshit. And also, who gives a shit. If he’s bisexual or even gay, so what? The only problem is, he’s part of a crowd that probably sees that as wrong…while at the same time claiming to support LGBQT rights. The hypocrisy runs deep.

Perhaps, but considering he did 6 degrees of separation, I feel like he is likely as supportive as he claims to be. Or at worst, indifferent.

It's not conclusive evidence, but considering there is already video a movie scene out there with his legs up, getting "murdered" by another man, it seems unlikely (but certainly still possible) that he harbours any secret homophobia.
