Ok, I have a meeting for about an hour so I won't be answering any questions you have for me until I get back. I suggest you pull your vote for me and then wait to hear my response and then decide if you want to continue to vote for me.

Re: Warhammer - Burn the Heretic! Day Two -No one found dead
If I am wrong, I'll likely feel like a jack-ass later but, I'd like to share that I feel Scoop is a Good-Guy this game.
I'm not exactly at liberty to expand on it, but I feel pretty good about it.
(He's been "the one" that I have mentioned a couple times, unnamed)
Anyhow.
Theohall was my 2nd choice of a shot, so I am going to place my vote there.
Mr.Bubbles, Austin, and Stessier are both high on my list.
Chaos and Remus keep cropping up as potential converts, but Remus keeps exhibiting certain behaviours that I think are 'Good Guy' signs (and then occasionally flashes some things that always make me think he's evil, although I am often wrong - so I tend to try and back-ground these specific concerns regard Remus... 'squelch' if you will...)
So, who did I even forget was playing in this review....
Hmm...
Ahhh - Purge.... well.... Actually, I've been leaning that Purge is OK this game too. I do agree that his unfortunate Marine troubles do seem to put him in a pickle - so we'll need to see how that pans out.
So, yea - Theohall

Oh, and for personal reasons - I'd love to learn about Lassr's geneseed.
Although, I can see a desire for the lynch to be discovered too... It's likely a wash, so I am OK with whatever the Apoth decides to do... but I'd love to hear if I wasted that shot.

I'm a bit torn. This screams wolf, wanting to claim special but afraid to be countered. I'll remove my vote and vote Theohall. I don't feel great about it but it's what the cool kids are doing.

I have to say that stessier's vote on Scoop jumped him up way far on my list. I am not removing my vote from Theohall though because I think Theo is evil and I do not want to put he and Scoop back into a tie by putting a lone vote on stessier.
As for the Geneseed, I understand Unagi's desire to have Lassr checked but I think it more important we check the lynched. Finding Lassr's gives us information regarding one player's decision making (and a player we do not need to doubt at that). Finding the geneseed of the lynched give us information regarding everyone's decision process.

I think I am still leaving my vote but I'm watching you stessier.
and if Scoop ends up the special I think he is for the reasons I thought I will crown myself redeemed from the Remuscide game as he was the other one I was looking at.

Just to put a little more out there - Scoop was very strongly in line with my choice of Lassr.Remus West wrote:As for the Geneseed, I understand Unagi's desire to have Lassr checked but I think it more important we check the lynched. And then, also - just think of how much more I want to know about Lassr compared to the fractional ownership we would all have toward today's Lynch.
In other words: Sure, sure - the apothecary can give us all a 'snack' by telling us what our Lynch was... but the apothecary can give me a 'full course meal' by telling us what Lassr was.

I'm not going to say which special I am, not because I am worried about someone countering my claim but because I don't want to give the baddies an easy choice on who to kill tonight.
If they want to know which role I have they will HAVE to scan me and thus this prevents them from fishing who other specials with that scan. Smart choice, huh?
As far as the geneseed, I say the apothecary scans theohall. I do believe we should find out if either of them is tainted tonight if the apothecary is still alive.

Scoop, just curious, but why would they care what special you are? Dead is dead. They have no need to worry about dead specials.

Very much so. Suppose they have another suspect they think might be special. They scan that player. Get the result they wanted and he dies. Get the result they did not and you die.Scoop20906 wrote:Are you serious, Remus?Remus West wrote:Scoop, just curious, but why would they care what special you are? Dead is dead. Personally, I am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. A bit. Because what happens if you are evil and want to make certain that you have a free shot at Unagi or some other special? Making a vague claim is a good way to try and get protection tonight leaving every other target free to get off'd. Had you not made a point of bringing it up again I would have thought nothing of it. The way you made certain to bring it back up screams of a call for protection. On a player we can not trust who has made a claim we can not verify. Strikes me as a questionable move at best.

Re: Warhammer - Burn the Heretic! Nite 3 - Lassr & Theohall gone
There is a possibility that we've killed one or two of the little EC buggers. With a group of 11 and 2 kills, we have a 18% chance of randomly selecting an EC. Since these weren't random selections, I would hope that we've increased the odds (although I doubt it).Remus West wrote:Very much so. Suppose they have another suspect they think might be special. Response to Remus: Yeah, they could do it the way you described but then they would be killing me without knowing if I am REALLY a special. I have given no proof. Its true my play would have had more effect if they had not converted someone already but its still makes them make a choice.

So, its known to the group?

To late for that. Either you get protection or you do not. If you claim a special role and are evil then the real role would be forced out giving you another target for the night. If you claim special and are special then you are taking away the sole advantage of your play by not forcing them to spend their scan.Scoop20906 wrote:Unagi, do you think I should announce my special role and what I have done so far this game?
