That appears to be the wireless version, but wired or wireless, both are superb choices for office, multimedia editing, and productivity tasks. It's less than ideal for gaming though, due to its somewhat pedestrian sensor (but if you're so inclined, the default sensor can be swapped out and improved, as shown here). Although broadly speaking, you're likely better off using a trackball specifically intended for gaming, such as those available from GameBall.
I lived in the boonies, surprising I could even get an Atari 2600. Probably from the now defunct "Service Merchandise" two hours away in Ocala. Had to dig deep to remember that name.
Indeed, in my experience, scroll wheels on most Kensington trackballs are top notch, and typically provide outstanding tactile feedback. I remember hearing lots of good things about this model (or a different, similar Kensington) when I was still trackballing, but never had the extra money to try it. One of the problems is that there are (or at least used to be) very, very few trackballs with scroll wheels.
Makes my "single worldwide standard time" idea look a lot more appealing.
I grew up in Saskatchewan, so no. My high school was going to start it's first computer class the year after I graduated. I think they were going to use the Apple II, but I'm not certain about that. Feel free to read through the comments on this Reddit post to see all the different ways how they scam you with Zelle. Basically a legit buyer that has money in their bank account to use Zelle wouldn't have a problem just going to an ATM and handing you the cash (we are not talking hundreds of dollars here).
