Years ago I had Microsoft Azure AD generate a new password for the ONLY Hispanic person working for our company after he forgot his old pass (we didn't allow self reset way back then for some reason). The password it spit out started with

puta

I quickly had it create a new one.

Two things I now hate about YouTube:

1. They slow down performance if you are running an ad blocker.

2. It seems like every video ends abruptly, and they start the next video in line in a nanosecond, forcing you to exit out of it.

Believe me I know. I have many times where Im overwhelmed and am again after thinking I was getting stuff under control. The freezing weather busted my pvc piping so Ive been without water a week again and will be another at the least. Can see my post in home repairs for this. Also my car worked ONEe time for a trip to town and now I cant get it to run again and have no hope of fixing it. Im thinking its the fuel filer or feul pump but I can neither get to eeither one or have to the tools to remove either.

So Im worried and stressed out again not sleeping good or eating. I was so close to having stuff working Nwo Im dragging up water from my well to wash me and the dishes and flush the toiler. its all bad around here with bothj me my clothes and dishes stinking.

Im going to take the trimemr and razor and shave all my hair and beard off so I can make it easier on keeping myself clean . Hair grows back and between the difficilty cleaning it, buying shampoo and paying for haircuts its beyond me right now.

I shaved my head so its easier to take care of for now. I look like Mr Clean again. Did this once before about 15 years ago. Was hard to shave. My new Walt trimmer wasn't up to the task of cutting long oily hair that hadn't been washed in 4 days. Had to break out my old trimmer to finish it. Was worried for a sec Id be reduced to scissors. I have the top cut and part of the back. I looked like a wild Patrick Stewart.

Thanks for the support and taking the time to post, I truly mean that. I think the "wave" that is being felt is more than I expected although I don't seem to show much emotion and sometimes wonder if something is wrong inside. I found walking a lot today helped clear my mind and balance me a bit. My wife wasn't keen on me walking, didn't want anything else to happen. Understandable.

More than a few times. There's not much that anyone can say to make it easier, but I can tell you that it will pass, and things will feel right again.
Thank you, I know it will get better, and I know others have been through a lot worse, it's one of the reasons I decided to post. I just hit this wall today, wasn't sure how to triage what's been going on this week. I'll take care of my wife and mom, and in turn I know they'll take care of me.

There's always someone, somewhere, starving to death.

Don't discount your own ordeals just because someone else has had it worse. You'll never be able to let yourself feel what you need to feel if you do.

FWIW, walking has always been one of the best problem solvers and stress reducers for me. It's relaxing, it keeps the body busy, you get fresh air, you get out of environment you were stewing in, and it makes your blood flow (humans evolved with walking or running being one of their biggest strengths, after all - we're one of nature's best runners!)

Like I said I feel in pain or down mentally a lot. But I realize others are even worse off than me . Of course not everyone is. And Ill be honest I feel a bit better knowing others are in the boat with me. Not that they hurt , just knowing there are others. I wouldn't wish troubles on much anyone these days. I try not to anyone really. I believe in karma and Im just a nice easy going guy. But even eye get fed up..beyond fed up..with some political figures.

Also since shaving my head my head is cool..as in temp feeling. Glad its not colder out right now. Inside is bad enough. Takes a while to get used to. Also cant decide if I look like Mr Clean, a tough motorcycle rider, or Mr Potato Head.

+1. Also, don't feel bad about not feeling bad enough. When I'm in a stressful situation where it seems like the hits keep on coming, I go into autopilot, waiting for the next shoe to drop. Only after normality returns does that numbness pass and my emotions catch up with me. I didn't cry about my mom's death until a month after I scattered her ashes.

Condolences on so much loss in such a short time!

My mom's passing hit me hard. I think it gets to a point that after taking care of them for so long it's more like losing a child. Both my folks did become sort of sweet like little kids in their old age. I've never had kids so I don't exactly know, but I remember how it left my folks when my brother passed at 47. It was like mom & dad aged twenty years practically overnight. Particularly dad, although mom was more vocal about it. My dad parked himself in the lazy boy after my brother died, and my pop stayed there for the next seven years until he too passed. RIP to all!

And then I noticed my metal playlist has 616 tracks.

Summoner Geeks. It was actually a Dead Alewives comedy sketch about D&D.

The monsters and players were from the games Summoner and Red Faction. Volition (the company behind the games, along with Descent, Freespace, and Saint's Row), used the sketch as the foundation for an animation test for the characters from the games, and ended up including it on the disk.

One of the best typos I've ever seen has made it viral. A Pizza Hut in Timmins, Ontario printed up a sign that said 'Due to Unforseen Circumcisions' the dining room would be closed. Wait, they still have a dining room? They came back later with a promotion promising no tips required.
