1) I think I failed to recognize only 11 or 12 of the riffs, even if I sometimes couldn't name the song without the hint,
2) It shows the importance of production--a lone guitar just can't do the sound as we hear it from a studio,
3) The best thing about this performance is the transitions (Van Halen to The Smiths at 5:37 was wonderful),
4) I'm convinced that BOC's "Don't Fear the Reaper" (3:48) is the best isolated riff of all time.

Vixen were hot and still are...Seagulls made me realize how much I love Space Age Love Song and more than that Wishing.

Very cool, but a 100 song history of great rock riffs without a single Bowie song? C'mon, man. Seems like Ziggy and Suffragette City would be no-brainers.

It's close, but I think that honor still belongs to "Sweet Child O' Mine"

Even though MASH is tied with the original Star Trek as the best show ever to me I have refused to watch the movie. Not a big fan of Gould and its just not MASH without Alan Alda and crew. Ive always heard its a great movie but I grew up on the show. I have seen tiny snips of clips and it dont sit well with me. That of course was at least 2 decades ago.
