I'm up after Vorret's merchant action, right? There are two black goods in the market prior to Vorret's merchanting, right?
That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons bring us some web forums whereupon we can gather

No, Isgrimnur took the Financier action instead. There's only 1 good there, and it's MINE.El Guapo wrote:I'm up after Vorret's merchant action, right? There are two black goods in the market prior to Vorret's merchanting, right?
Doesn't the board you posted have two black disks in the center? Though I can't really see for sure if that's the market or not.SpaceLord wrote:No, Isgrimnur took the Financier action instead. I'll investigate, and update tonight.El Guapo wrote:Doesn't the board you posted have two black disks in the center? Also, Vorret's moving goods to market now too, right? Does he have a call on which goods to move?
Here we go:Vorret wrote:Merchant I guess...
On Action 2 of this turn, Isgrimnur played Merchant, moving 2 black goods. I also have a good there, and now Vorret has 4, for a total of 7 goods.SpaceLord wrote: I'll investigate, and update tonight.
I would've done that on my Trader/Financier if I had realized that there were plenty of goods to move. :/El Guapo wrote:I forgot that with trader I move goods equal to my economy PLUS the native power of my colonies. So, I can move all 7 goods in the market now.
Given that, I'll move all goods in the market, pending any objections by the goods holders. Which should net me 7 treasury, and give treasury to the appropriate folks.

I'm fine with that too. As per my last post, we're left with the following in the market:El Guapo wrote:I'll pick trader. With an economy of two I believe I take 2 goods out of the market and gain two treasury, and that two people with goods on the market also get 1 treasury per good. I believe SpaceLord and Vorret both have at least 1 good on the market, so with their permission I'll move 1 good of each, giving them both 1 treasury.
Vorret *just* put 4 tokens in, and I just put in 1. There was only 2 in there when you played Trader/Financier.El Guapo wrote:Grundbegriff wrote:I would've done that on my Trader/Financier if I had realized that there were plenty of goods to move. :/El Guapo wrote:I forgot that with trader I move goods equal to my economy PLUS the native power of my colonies. Oh, to be clear per my update I'm clearing all of them out, including all of Vorret's and Isgrimnur's, assuming their permission.SpaceLord wrote:I'm fine with that too. 4 tokens from Vorret
1 from Isgrimnur
Well, I glanced at the "updated" map from a few days ago-- the one Isgrimnur had requested-- and assumed that it was in fact updated. But it only shows two black tokens in the market.... On that specific basis, I decided to take out a loan instead of trade to make coh.El Guapo wrote:Grundbegriff wrote:I would've done that on my Trader/Financier if I had realized that there were plenty of goods to move. :/El Guapo wrote:I forgot that with trader I move goods equal to my economy PLUS the native power of my colonies. Ahhh. Now it makes sense.SpaceLord wrote:Vorret *just* put 4 tokens in, and I just put in 1. There was only 2 in there when you played Trader/Financier.
Do I have any Merchant Fleets? I really have no idea what my player board looks like at this point.Spacelord wrote:Grundbegriff:Merchant/Governor or Sovereign/Conqueror.
No, you had 1 at turn start, then placed your last one in Arabia as Action 3-1.Grundbegriff wrote:Do I have any Merchant Fleets? I really have no idea what my player board looks like at this point.Spacelord wrote:Grundbegriff:Merchant/Governor or Sovereign/Conqueror.
Thank you. For my extra move, may I Colonize Persia? I'd like to place a Company there.SpaceLord wrote:No, you had 1 at turn start, then placed your last one in Arabia as Action 3-1.
You have only 1 disk there, and you've already played viceroy in the Levant, on June 15th.Grundbegriff wrote:Thank you. For my extra move, may I Colonize Persia? I'd like to place a Company there.SpaceLord wrote:No, you had 1 at turn start, then placed your last one in Arabia as Action 3-1.
Ah, yes. The native pop.SpaceLord wrote:You have only 1 disk there, and you've already played viceroy in the Levant, on June 15th.Grundbegriff wrote:Thank you. Yes, you can. It happens occasionally.Grundbegriff wrote:But I'm just a peaceful merchant!
If there's no legal move other than war, am I allowed to pass? If so, I'll do that rather than attack my good friends... (looks at jpg) Black and Red.
I've only actually updated the 2nd tab of the spreadsheet. I'm busy at work right now, and leave for vacation tomorrow night. I'll let everyone know if I'm able to update stuff before I leave, and will post in the thread when we're going on hiatus.Vorret wrote:Think you forgot to add 10 to my debt as I took a loan a few turns ago.
I understand that you want to drop out because of the wait. I've actually been out of two most of the past two weeks, and I'll be out of town all weekend. I'll pick this back up next week, and we can automate your actions.Grundbegriff wrote:We're four months in. Now that there's an extended pause for SpaceLord's vacation, I wanted to ask whether there are any lurkers who might be interested in taking over the glorious destiny of France.
