Couple of notes
- a cumulative db count should be posted....the builder segment is current as of that moment, except for LM because he passed
Question
- are doubloons a finite source? Once we go through the 34 of them do we not get more? Reason am asking because of having to keep track of all that is coming into the players hands and all that is going out via expenditures is a bit of a process.

I've never seen us run out Doubloons but I was wondering the same thing. They probably are but I can't imagine a situation where it ever would matter.
(and oh yeah, I feel for you. Doubloon/crate moving was ugly for me.)

I'll let everyone else check my data that i've put forth. Does anyone else want to set up the asci stuff? Or should I?
Also at the start of the turn we should do a pictorial post of the boards (the photo things) just for reference purposes.

I'm assuming that they are, but that spent doubloons go back into the pot, right? Like it's not like once we go through 34 more doubloons, no one can get any more money, right?

Is it ok if i skip the +/- aspect of the doubloon count? (laziness and not looking forward to bean counting) Or should i keep that up to date as possible?

I think so, so long as people agree that their personal final count is OK. I know I'm at 3.

i think my guild hall will take up 3 slots in my "buildings" area....i think. I think there is a rule/game aspect...that everyone has a set amount of building space and when filled that ends the game.
I think it should look like this:
Buildings and workers:
[tobacco storage______2] [City Hall ____________0] [____________________] [large market_________1]
[Sm Indigo___________0] [City Hall____________0] [____________________] [office_______________1]
[____________________] [City hall ____________0] [____________________] [small warehouse______1]
Re: Puerto Rico, Game 01: Transit of Venus

by LordMortis
it takes up two slots (but only requires one colonist to man) so maybe something like this:
[tobacco storage______2] [City Hall ____________0] [____________________] [large market_________1]
[Sm Indigo___________0] [City Hall ____________x] [____________________] [office_______________1]
[____________________] [____________________] [____________________] [small warehouse______1]
But yes, the game will end if one person finished their buildings area (or if run out of VPs or if we run out out of colonists or if all of the 10 point buildings are purchased). Given the way alll y'all are gaining and going through doubloons, I would guess the last condition is the one that will end the game.
Once one condition is met I believe we finish the full game round.
Edit:
building all large buildings does not end the game as I thought it did but finishing all 12 spaces does, just as you stated.

I'll take Mayor (and 1 doubloon with it, for a total of 7 doubloons). I'll put one colonist on my coffee plantation and one bonus colonist on my coffee roaster.
Which puts it to Newcastle for mayor choice.

You can't build any more plantations if you use all of the plantation spaces. That's not likely to happen unless you take an early hacienda.
Also EG mayored, rather than settled. We're just deciding where our colonists go.
When it comes to me I will put a 2nd colonist in my Large Indigo factory. Leaving two open building spots. (one in the large Indigo factory and one in the small sugar mill)

If I understand:
46 colonists.
EG = 3 (Two tobacco, one coffee)
NC = 3 (City Hall, Small Indigo, Tobacco Storage)
CR = 1 (coffee)
LM = 2 (Large Indigo, Small Sugar Mill)
Q = 0
9 colonists board the ship.
46 - 1 for privileged - 9 for reload = 36 colonists remaining waiting to come over not on the ship. (Possibly less with all my colonists coming over to man my plantations)
Newcastle's role.
