No, it's not accurate. They're not in a prison in Thailand, for God's sake. They're not in maximum security prisons...hell, the majority of them aren't even IN a prison, having served 30 days or so, or being sentenced to home incarceration.

As with all things Trump, you have to take what he says and then either completely discard it as fake, or tone down the exaggeration by a huge degree.

Never pegged Trump for an "End Incarceration"/Criminal Justice Reform advocate.

Here's fun trivia. How many of the 1/6 rioters were charged and/or convicted of terrorism? If you said zero, you'd be correct. Which is weird when you consider that Luigi Mangione was charged yesterday with terrorism (in addition to murder).

So once again, try to overthrow the peaceful transfer of power? Hang tight and you'll get a pardon. Shoot a CEO? That's terrorism.

You cannot deny that dozens, perhaps hundreds, of CEOs were terrified.

Yeah, but once the guards are allowed to use firehoses on the inmates, the prisons will be clean places that are probably too good for the enemies of the state that will be replacing the Jan 6 heroes. Prison reform, MAGA-style.

My understanding is that it makes it easier for them to expedite in his extradition to New York, along with ensuring a more severe sentence when he's convicted. Win-win.

He's not. He's a "no punishment for people who support him" and a "maximum punishment for anyone who opposes him" guy.

For some reason, I am full of Trumptopian ideas lately. The latest one offers anyone incarcerated and serving a 20+ year sentence the option of receiving an M16, all the ammo they can carry, and a parachute drop near the Ukrainian front lines.

Feels like this should be part of the revenge tour:
President-elect Donald Trump has once again suggested he wants to revert the name of North America’s tallest mountain — Alaska’s Denali — to Mount McKinley, wading into a sensitive and decades-old conflict about what the peak should be called.

Former President Barack Obama changed the official name to Denali in 2015 to reflect the traditions of Alaska Natives as well as the preference of many Alaska residents. The federal government in recent years has endeavored to change place-names considered disrespectful to Native people.

“Denali” is an Athabascan word meaning “the high one” or “the great one.” A prospector in 1896 dubbed the peak “Mount McKinley” after President William McKinley, who had never been to Alaska. That name was formally recognized by the U.S. government until Obama changed it over opposition from lawmakers in McKinley’s home state of Ohio.

Trump suggested in 2016 that he might undo Obama’s action, but he dropped that notion after Alaska’s senators objected. He raised it again during a rally in Phoenix on Sunday.

What's especially dumb about this is Alaskans of all stripes call it Denali. It's only a culture war issue to conservatives outside of Alaska.

I’m waiting for statues of Confederate generals and heroes to start showing up again in places where they were previously moved to museums in an effort to control the context of their existence.

And the reversion of military base names back to traitorous generals.

Why would Trump waste time honoring other people? The statues will be of him, and the bases will be "Trump Courageous," "Trump Victorious," "Trump Large Hands," etc.

Musk (not a real American) may be failing the MAGA purity test.

Musk, Ramaswamy Face MAGA Uproar After Saying Tech Firms Need Foreign Workers
Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, who will soon head President-elect Donald Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, have repeatedly demonized undocumented immigrants. In recent days, though, Musk and Ramaswamy have both argued Big Tech firms desperately need foreign workers — generating controversy among the MAGA base.

Both Musk and Ramaswamy appeared to be expressing support for H-1B visas for high-skilled workers. These visas have often been criticized by the left and right for allowing companies to rely on cheaper foreign labor. Companies also maintain significant control over such workers; it’s difficult for them to switch jobs, and if they lose their jobs, they can be forced to leave the country.

Musk took to his social media site, X, on Wednesday to argue that Silicon Valley firms need foreign workers because there aren’t enough “super motivated” and “super talented engineers” in America. His statements quickly drew criticism from conservatives who support Trump’s draconian immigration policies.

“The number of people who are super talented engineers AND super motivated in the USA is far too low,” Musk wrote. “Think of this like a pro sports team: if you want your TEAM to win the championship, you need to recruit top talent wherever they may be. That enables the whole TEAM to win.”

The comments incensed Trump ally Laura Loomer, who wrote that Musk only “bought [his] way into MAGA 5 minutes ago.” She said Musk and his “Big Tech buddies” are trying to “infiltrate” the Trump White House despite opposing “MAGA immigration policy.” Loomer added: “You’re still not our President. The real President knows H1B visas are bad for America and the real President is from this country.” (Two of Trump’s three wives were born outside of the U.S., and his firms have used H1-B visas in the past.)

One X user wrote to Musk: “There are over 330 million people in America. Surely, there must be enough among them to build your ultimate team? Why would you deny real Americans that opportunity by bringing foreigners here?” Another user replied to him, before their account was suspended: “My son graduated with honors with electrical and computer engineering degrees in 2023. He can not get an interview, let alone a job.”
Of course, the real reason Musk loves H1-B work visas is that they give him indentured wage slaves that he can have deported if they don't toe the line for him.

It seems that Laura Loomer is going to war with him over it.

UPDATE: *Free speech champion* Elon Musk is now punishing Loomer for speaking out against him by restricting her account — removing her blue check and limiting her post length 👇🏽
