Here's something relaxing for the holidays. Someone fixed up a sled of seeds and nuts and left it out in the woods and snow with some cameras and mics. The birds and squirrels are fun to watch. Its an hour and perhaps you can loops it.

I didn't even know this existed. But it looks really fun. Should be at least twice as long though or more with more video around it.

As long as you don't have a bad back. Or a reason not to go to China.

Locally viral story about saving a Snowy Owl that was found sick at the side of the road on Drummond Island.
The vet involved is one of my favorite human beings of all time, Dr. Bennett. He used to be the vet for the John Ball Zoo before retiring but more importantly he was the vet for our Flemish Giants. He raised Flems when he was a 4H kid so has a soft spot for them. He loved our bunnies and every visit we had would stretch to an hour because he just wanted to talk and hold them. Very special man.

Those sure are pretty. My mother in law loved owls...live ones or bobbles for the shelf. She had purses and sweaters and 100s of figurines. Many still stand on the mantle 11 years after her passing. Me and my wife left them as a memory. Guess they'll always be there. My wife even told about the time they found a baby one and helped it out. They are pretty cool.

Watching an old video... Someone put up a video, with added footage explaining that NatGeo's "Seismic Seconds: Death of Ayrton Senna" is a biased as heck, as their explanations defies physics and common sense, and is based completely upon the Williams blackbox reconstruction... While the blackbox was removed from Senna's vehicle IN CONTRAVENTION of FIA rules, but apparently with FIA president's orders. Italian law actually required the event be shut down so the death can be investigated, but the locals decided to skip that part as not to cancel the grand prix at Imola, saving the community from losing a couple million in revenue. Also the NatGeo claim that the steering did NOT fail made no sense. They claim that the sensors measuring twist force would have bee able to tell if the steering column had broken, but that would have been dependent on where the sensor was mounted, and WHERE the break occurred. Also, they claimed that the Williams F1 car have a "floppy" steering wheel that can actually tilt 1-2 inches in all directions WHILE being driven at top speed. That is just MADNESS. NO ONE would tolerate a wheel that flops around like that. NatGeo also claimed bottoming the vehicle caused loss of downforce, except that made no sense either. It's as if NatGeo just made up random **** as they went along.
