Final Message: I've managed to kill the final alien but not before it killed the remaining crew. I should reach earth in another two days. With a little luck the network will pick me up...This is Lagom Lite, ships crew, last survivor of the Starship R.SCOTT signing off.

Awww. Forgot to update the day. Really didn't matter much at that point.stessier wrote:Scoop20906 wrote:All Course Correction Play orders must be in before the hard deadline, or forfeit. Yep, that's pretty much it.tru1cy wrote:The Humans could have won this game first day, but Lagom Lite turned us against each other and once that was done the Humans was done.
Yes they did. Stupid criminalz. Bwa Hahahahaha!!!pr0ner wrote:Damn you all, convicts.
Damn. You. All. I was right all along, and you convicts listened to the ALIEN.
You deserved to lose!
If he hadn't missed the game would have ended... and you guys would have won (4 corp + 1 Symb vs 5 Convicts)pr0ner wrote:Yep, that's pretty much it.tru1cy wrote:The Humans could have won this game first day, but Lagom Lite turned us against each other and once that was done the Humans was done.
I tried. I really did. Maybe if Austin hadn't missed things would be different?
Hey, I work with theatre irl. The craft teaches you acting, the business teaches you opportunism!Chaosraven wrote:Lagom you are a smooth tongued devil, and an opportunistic monster. Turning us against ourselves like that.
Trust me, I was tempted to do it.Lagom Lite wrote:Hey, I work with theatre irl. The craft teaches you acting, the business teaches you opportunism!Chaosraven wrote:Lagom you are a smooth tongued devil, and an opportunistic monster. Turning us against ourselves like that.
And let me chime in on the praise for this ruleset. Things could have been very different if I had been shot on day 1 instead of Isgrimnur.
I was surprised everyone joined in on my vote for you! The rule-set was really on my side there, the play was correct from a convict's perspective. I totally panicked because I knew you were on to me!pr0ner wrote:Trust me, I was tempted to do it.Lagom Lite wrote:Hey, I work with theatre irl. Something seemed fishier about Isgrimnur, though, that no one else had seemed to pick up on. I figured since there were already votes on you, you would have eventually been voted off on Day 1.
That would have been a might short game then.
Let's see... Once the Crew was outed, I was trying to put myself in the position where I could pretend to be either the symbiont or a convict. I was trying to "hide" my converts and argue against the rest.Austin wrote:Lagon, had we waited until day 2 to take the shot would you have converted a guard?
Not everyone.theohall wrote:Everyone bought the AO won't convert Engineer thing so everyone consdired them protected.
The problem is no one really challenged either Engineer to prove himself with the threat of airlocking them. It seemed like the only "agreed" plan seemed to be to convince them to do the double unlock which I thought was seriously flawed when it was first proposed. There is still no pressure on either Engineer and either could pull the same "I'm not unlocking until we have a win condition" thing again. IMO, the only way to have forced the Engineers hands would be to threaten to airlock them. Lagom did a good job taking advantage of what I thought was a Human faction weakness irt the Engineers status by actually converting an Engineer. (in spite of many arguments to the contrary including my earlier ones).Grundbegriff wrote:Not everyone.theohall wrote:Everyone bought the AO won't convert Engineer thing so everyone consdired them protected.
Well it wasn't exactly difficult to pick out the Corps, and the corps had LL on Day one too.Scoop20906 wrote:Everyone is also very lucky stessier didn't play. He was PMing me during the game and pretty much nailed everyone's role except theohall as the symbiont.
