Yeah, that pay what you want for OOTP18 is pretty crazy. I'd be all over that deal, if I didn't have everything of interest to me in that bundle already.
It's still cost effective to buy the first tier and give away the rest
It affects my OCD when I accumulate unnecessary games .. so I usually only focus on the first tier

I think they are giving a 20% off voucher to anyone who creates an account or has one and signs in. I got one for signing in. So $10 off a $50 game is not bad.
Just looking around I see...
Destiny 2 - $53.99
Starpoint Gemini Warlords - $8.49
Assassins Creed Origins - $50.99
Shadow of War - $43.79
These are already cheaper than any other place online Ive looked.
Starbound
Darkest Dungeon (Limited Availability)
Minecraft: Story Mode
Stardew Valley
Move or Die (Limited Availability)

IGN has destroyed Humble Bundle, at least when it comes to bargains. First, the monthly sub game after acquisition is barely worth $12 (H1Z1? tell me how that's better than Tomb Raider or some of the others they've done), and now a single tier $30 minimum bundle.

They've done the big charity bundles before, so I'm not ready to say the sky is falling. I do agree that the multiplayer stuff in Monthly can bite me.

I assume (perhaps wrongly) that whatever deals were made to include those games were made before IGN took over and were already in the pipeline.
HZ121 (or whatever its called) is still a lousy looking game, just not certain IGN deserves the blame.

Whether or not IGN is to blame, I'll be watching next month's bundle closer than I have in awhile. So far it has been a great value to me. This month is the first where I've been actively disappointed.
2 months in a row and I'll probably cancel. After all, I can just resub when a good month rolls around. I haven't had to do that dance yet because all months had been good.

but you needed someone to tell you why to get Watch Dogs?

Japanese weirdness that I'd totally get a kick out of if I didn't suck at combo-based beat-em-up.

I was going to head your response off at the pass when I said I downloaded Killer is Dead, but didn't bother.
Short answer: yes.
Long answer: depends on the day, mood, time of day, free space on HD, type of game, current game interest, which intrusive game library app I need to use, personal whim, whether I think my kids will like it and probably a whole host of other things.

FYI: If you try to cancel, it will ask if you want to pause for 30 days. You have to re-pause every 30 days, but you can unpause/repause any time. So you could unpause to get the 10% discount, and then repause. Plus, easy to leave it unpaused when the next good month rolls around.

I just spent $40 buying the Java books bundle, the 007 comics bundle, and the full bundle that had OOTP 18.
So November had Dead Rising 2 and Shadow Tactics. While Dead Rising 2 is an older version, I've never played any of them and have been interested in trying them. So there's that. Plus Shadow Tactics is on my wishlist.
I'm not sure how that works out, cash-wise, but at least both of those games is interesting to me. There is also Resident Evil 5, but that's not particularly interesting to me.
Buncha Elder scrolls junk that I'm not interested in but my son might be.

Im curious about that Humble Xmas deal. Its a game a day. I could ask for it for Xmas and it would be my early gift. Did anyone sign up and could tell me the first game for today?

I've done it before and it was almost all games that had been bundled in the past. This time I haven't bitten because I have every game that they've revealed so far, and they aren't very promising when it comes to my hopes for new-to-bundle games. I could end up wrong.
Easily top 5 worst head-bob induced nausea I've ever experienced. With no way to disable it, it's a miss for me. YMMV. But holy crap, it's like walking on a boat that's in choppy seas.

Well the stupid Humble Codemasters doesn't let you upgrade after your first purchase like usual. Message me if you'd like the keys from the first two tiers for $5 (including Grid Autosport base game...and from them it's at $8.42 now). I'll buy the thing again and give you all of that stuff (I'll even throw in the Grid 2 DLC from the top tier) and tell you $5 of Steam items you can gift me in payment.

Dawn of War III is part of December's January's monthly bundle. So we're back to being extremely pleased about my monthly subscription.
If I remember right, it got slammed because the campaign was short. But as time went on, the short campaigns in these types of games are now part of the norm. The game play was fun and the story engaging.

It was also a very depressing game, including you hiding in what's effectively a mass grave playing dead.
Remind me to skip this next year. 4 days left and there has yet to be anything I can be bothered to even install. Oh well, I guess I supported a charity.
