As long as you submitted the kill, yes.

Huh, people were waiting on me. I'm popular! Sorry for not being around so much this week - there's a vicious cycle wherein a lot gets posted, I get not excited about reading through it all, then more gets posted; especially when it's all uninformed day 1 nonsense anyhow.

Anywho, Chaosraven is dead and not evil. I am not surprised.

Day 2
At the break of dawn the village arises to the sounds of the roosters crowing. They gather in the town square and it is rather obvious who was missing. Mr. Bubbles was not amongst the crowd.
Kraegor goes to his hut and returns rather quickly, ‘The fizzle head idiot is dead.”

It is day.

As the villagers prepared breakfast, they were all quiet but looking suspiciously at each other wondering if their friend or neighbor could actually be a Dark Mage.
As redrun was boiling some coffee over a fire he noticed his shadow begin to move. He stood up and turned to face the sun. He cupped his hands around his eyes and glanced into the sky. The sun was moving…quickly.

Others began to notice also.

Newcastle watches his shadow creep along the ground. “The minutes seem to be advancing at an increased rate. I’d say 5 times faster.”

Remus West speaks up, “More like 6 times faster.”

Stessier, “No, no. It can’t be that fast. 3 times maybe.”

An argument begins about the speed of the day when RMC shouts, “Would you shut up! The important thing is we now do not have much time to vote. Obviously someone cast a Deadline spell. The stone will take the villager with the most votes when the sun sets.”

Villagers you have 24 hours.
Deadline is 9:04 Sunday morning.

Whoah.

Paging....everyone?

We have to move very fast here.

1. We need to vote, and
2. We need to get any critical cards played (Talk to the Dead? Seance?)

I'll start with the obvious:

 Remus West

Also remember--we can't disclose our cards anymore without them becoming inoperative.

hmmm. If it's been used such that it can no longer be swiped, I'd think that you could say what it is (since my understanding / recollection of the rules is that we can't say what card we're assigned before we play it, but can after we play it).

Newcastle, you're being disingenuous:
Lassr wrote:If you publicly state which card you have in some form that makes it obvious then you lose the ability to use the card. You are free to talk about your card after it is used. You can talk about any card that was in your possession after the card leaves your hand. You are free to talk about strategy that can be used IF someone is in possession of a certain card.

Bolded part being the key reference.

If redrun is telling the truth, then your card is no longer in your hand and you're free to talk about it. While I can see that you may have some strategic reason for not revealing what you learned from the result of a played card, you can at least reveal what card you played. Otherwise, with a deadline looming, you will be lynched if you continue to obfuscate.

You also need to clarify this:
Newcastle wrote:yup because i used it yesterday....and...uhm...i really cant say much more yet...but its...kind of been used....but kind of not....catch my drift?

By yesterday, do you mean yesterday as in Day 1 of this game or yesterday as in Friday?

I meant Friday...as in the second it came into my hands, i used it.

-yes i dont have a card currently. It was not hte deadlines card.

I recognize the need for speed here due to teh deadline...but there are things that are...uhm out of my hands if you will.

Why didn't he simply deny playing the card? Why didn't he claim to have used "I am Sparticus"?

Triggercut has moved way up in the possible bad rankings, El Guapo has moved up in the possible bad ranking.

Remus... Not sure. I pushed him on day one and for the rest of the day he kept pushing back. Even when I stopped replying/posting about him, he never let it go. If he is a wolf, he knows I'll turn up villager when lynched, pointing a huge arrow at him. Remus kept harping on the same point - I was calling him evil, but never voted for him, however I'd made it clear why I didn't want to vote for him on day one... Not sure, not sure at all here.

I believe he's (sarcastically) thanking you for not waiting for El Guapo to use Deadline yesterday. However, since Deadline is a two use card, his veiled accusation is without merit.

Should another deadline occur on a later date, then he will have a valid complaint.

No. You said you didn't want to vote for me because you thought I was "asking" for votes. Since that makes zero sense that is hardly clear.

I have no idea what card Newcastle is claiming to have played that wouldn't be the Deadline card in this scenario.

It wouldn't have mattered, apparently. Deadline has 2 uses.

That was my thinking as well, but it wouldn't have mattered.

So what if it has two uses. We did not get the opportunity to waste one of those uses thanks to Remus West. Had El Guapo been a wolf, he likely would have played the card way earlier on Day One.

And there are lots of cards Newcastle could play with which he would not want to reveal what was played.
