As an absorbed member of my grand alliance... things are not looking great for The Grand alliance of the Zennaterrium. We're no where near dead yet, but that massive orange blob that I believe was largely responsible for turning you into a silent member of the alliance is slowly overpowering the rest of us.

Well, except for Ralph Wigguns - he wisely chose to ally with us and the orange blob, so he could focus on the other threat in the south east.

Another question: is there a way to see the troops the enemy lost on battles that take place not on your turn? As far as I can tell, the battle summaries only show the troops I lost.

Only way is remembering what was in the stack before and then seeing what's not there anymore, AFAIK.

You just wait around, and periodically you'll get a "X hero is available to hire for Y gold" pop up at the start of a turn. I assume that you need to have a minimum amount of gold on hand for that to get triggered.

If you don't have a hero currently, you need a LOT LESS gold on hand (think 100-200 vs 800+)

I started by trying to take out the blob's hero. That... did not go well. I did send one of the later stacks after some rats, quite a few dead rats now. But my hero is too close, he's going to wipe mine out. Best I'll likely due is thin out some more of his stack of death in my demise. Unless RNG really hates him (which it doesn't so far).

Looking for a guy...goes by the name of Lil Red...he has something of mine...heard he headed done south... if you see him...tell him he can hide (my fog of war clearing is rather spotty), but he can't run.

On a more serious note - anyway to tell how close DA is to winning the 8 items of power goal? (in game, not just asking him - though if you're willing to tell us, that will suffice)

Thinking we might need to form a grand alliance to take his leader down (which of course results in whoever gets all the goods being the target of a new grand alliance...).

I don't remember a way. winners report is also inaccurate for these purposes.

PS. What can I say? I guess I believe in the Diplomacy style takeaway (save for scouts and undefended cities), and also that because email turns could just be reloaded to win even the toughest battles, we have to be on the honor system.

Hopefully you know I was kidding. Cheating would defeat the value of playing. I believe we would all have done the right thing (otherwise, we couldn't trust each other to play the game fairly, making the whole experience pointless).
