I haven't seen my boss in a week, and won't see him again until the first week of August, due to conflicting work travel, vacations, and various PTO. Party time, excellent! :)

Fucking QA. Take 2 seconds to read the fucking log and note the date before sending out a high importance alert to every goddamn body saying my code doesn't work so you don't look like a fucking tool when I fucking point out the error you noticed was from 2 fucking days ago and I didn't get a fucking email alert as I always fucking do on a fucking production error and so do you. Also, fuck yourself.

I need more beers.

I always put keys and wallet into my right front pocket. I always go to pull them out of my left front pocket and they are never there.

Keys- Left front
Phone- Right front
Knife- Right front
Wallet- Right back

That is all I carry everyday, anything extra is always left front. When I have to change that I get all kinds of mixed up. I am trying to switch my phone and keys though. The knife can scratch my phone and that would be a bummer.

I got a $2.50 velcro wallet from WalMart and it is about 1/4" thick max. Thinnest wallet I have ever seen. There are many times where I have to check and make sure I have it.

It's actually probably a good thing they don't have hot chicks working fast food. There was a space of time where I was a regular at one of the four Taco Bells within a mile or so of my house and the drive thru girl knew me by voice. We joked around quite a bit during our two minute dalliances twice a week. If she was hot then I'd have found myself eating Taco Bell 5 to 7 times a week.

How sad (or cool?) is it that north, south, east, or west, I can grab Taco Bell on my way out the door? However, on the rare occasions I eat Taco Bell, I still I always go to the one to the east because cool Taco Bell girl worked there.

To the woman in the black Porsche Cayenne who entered the on-ramp to Central Expressway, did not accelerate past 40 MPH, remained in the acceleration lane, and then exited to the frontage road whence we came:

Why, pray tell? There were no traffic signals to avoid. The 250 yards of acceleration lane are not noticeably better paved than the frontage road. Was it your desire to make those on the frontage road yield upon your triumphant return? Perhaps, if that was the end goal, you should have accelerated so that your relative positions would change, rather than remaining completely static.

Traffic was bad enough before the introduction of your sui generis form of dickwaddery. You are an asshole.

Since my wife makes the mortgage payment I'll give her a pass on that.

Speaking of mortgage payments, a buddy of mine just bought a new house. 7k square feet on 0.8acre outside Charlotte. The property tax on a monthly basis will be close to my mortgage payment. #ImNotRich

I think this is actually something that has happened in just the last week. I was watching AMC a few nights ago and they were running a ticker along the bottom explaining the situation and asking Dish subscribers to contact the provider to express their interest in keeping AMC. It's pretty sad in my opinion that the providers and networks are willing to go so far as to stop service. I guess all you can hope for is that they reach an agreement and restore the network quickly. Fortunately, this only seems to be affecting Dish subscribers for now...

According to the AMC CEO, he doesn't expect a resolution ahead of their September 18 trial date. So the outage may last for months (or he may just be trying to apply additional pressure on Dish customers to call and complain about the loss of AMC).

I'm typically not a fan of Westerns (the Old West setting simply doesnt interest me), but am tempted to give this one a look as well.

Spoiler alert.

You'll probably like it.

It's Seven Samurai with six shooters.
