If none of you use a bow I will carry the longbow for now as it has better range than the one I currently possess.

Gorum nudges the corpse of the worg with the toe of his boot. With no response forthcoming the dwarf rears back and kicks the dead animal a little harder. Pursing his lips as though contemplating what he should do next he suddenly swings the waraxe high over his head and brings it down squarely in the center of the beasts skull. With a sickening thunk the axe throws a fine spray of cooling blood onto the nearby ground. Then with a satisfied nod of his head the bard begins to pry the blade loose and shouts back over his shoulder.
Had to be sure! Ye ever ran inta a group o' zombies? Well I have! And lemme' tell ye, that's one crowd ye dunna' wanna' be playin' fer. Stinkin' deaders with their mumbles and groans o' "BRAINS! BRAINS!" get's a might old. And if'n ye're thinkin' a worg canna' become a zombie? Well ye'd be wrong! Seen one or two in my time I have! Buggers skin went and flipped is'self inside out once 'e became zombified. No idear why the doggies do that but they do.
Now finished prying his blade loose the dwarf spits once on the mutilated corpse, slings his axe across his back, and trundles his way back toward his mount without taking a second glance at the new stack of loot.

To attain a new level you need 1000x the previous level
1 = 0
2 = 1000
3 = 3000 (added 2000)
4 = 6000 (added 3000)
5 =10000
6 = 15000
etc
If you guys started as Level 2, you all had 1000 already

Treasure so far:
2 vials of green liquid (Levitate, 3 min dur)
1 vial liquid (unknown)
1 ring magic unknown (protection?) probably with charges
2 scrolls
1 Mace, magic unknown (for sale at next town cause Trok wanted the manacles instead)
2 Daggers (for sale)
1 Short bow (for sale, swapped with Searin for Long Bow)
300 gold (party, for identifying items)
Each member gets 200 / 5 = 40 gold.

Any signs of activity near the area? Foot prints? Animal droppings?

Gorum pulls his horse up short and glances back to see the rest of his party staring intently at a small tent off to the side of the road.
What're ye beetle-browed, fish-mouthed, tourists lookin' at! A tent!? BAH! What!? ye ne'er seen a tent before! Let's just take ourselves a little look-see and see if anyun be home!
With that the dwarf drops out of his saddle and trundles over toward the tent shouting at the top of his lungs.
KNOCK! KNOCK! ANYBODY HOME!!!?

By means of this spell, you are able to assume the form of a Large living tree or shrub or a Large dead tree trunk with a small number of limbs. The closest inspection cannot reveal that the tree in question is actually a magically concealed creature. To all normal tests you are, in fact, a tree or shrub, although a detect magic spell reveals a faint transmutation on the tree. While in tree form, you can observe all that transpires around you just as if you were in your normal form, and your hit points and save bonuses remain unaffected. You gain a +10 natural armor bonus to AC but have an effective Dexterity score of 0 and a speed of 0 feet. You are immune to critical hits while in tree form. All clothing and gear carried or worn changes with you.

The Vegetation, surprisingly, never reverts to its natural form and instead of slaughtering you as a great and mighty Elder Green Dragon, choose to die magnificently as just a tree.

Bottle has red liquid, vials have black.
The notebook is in Goblin (which you know)... it appears to be a journal of a Goblin studying the habits of Worgs (consider it a Knowledge Worg book for +5 to rolls of that variety)
It does not disclose what is in the bottle or vials

after watching Trok chop the tree down with a stunned look on his face Searin dismounts and approaches the tent calling out to Gorum
Any sign of whose tent this is or what they are doing out here? Strange place for someone to be alone.

The dwarf stomps out of the tent while pocketing the goblin journal. Throwing a thumb over his shoulder he grunts out a reply to Searin.
There's some vials o' goop in there if'n ye're wantin' 'em. Me? I ne'er been one to drink candy from strange goblins... er sumthin' li'e that.
