Dammit. I have a great answer but I can't make it work.

OK, how about Victor Victoria? Julie Andrews plays a woman pretending to be a drag queen performer, and the employer/employee relationship is between Victoria and her gay friend Toddy who comes up with the scheme to do this and acts as her manager. His manager. Whatever.

Some Like It Hot: The protagonists' employer-employee relationship with the Mob is a running theme throughout, and the motivating factor for their career in drag.

Gung Ho
The local auto plant in fictional Hadleyville, Pennsylvania, which supplied most of the town's jobs, has been closed for nine months. The former foreman Hunt Stevenson (Michael Keaton) goes to Tokyo to try to convince the Assan Motors Corporation to reopen the plant. The Japanese company agrees and, upon their arrival in the U.S., they take advantage of the desperate work force to institute many changes.

Cronenberg's Rabid. in which a comatose Marilyn Chambers develops a taste for human blood after undergoing experimental plastic surgery (resulting in a disturbing mutation: a bizarre syringe-like appendage that emerges from her armpit, which she uses to siphon blood and spread the disease). Also, a drunken farmer attempts to rape her in a nearby barn -- where there are plenty of haystacks -- becoming one of the first victims.
