never realized time and temp phone numbers were a thing of the past. Our's has been around since the 70s and is still going. It was started I think by a bank and told only time and temp which I liked. But now its owned / sponsored by a company ....still has time and temp but also gives a little forecast.
Same number for at least 40 years.

If anyone wants to know my time and temp lol..or feel nostalgic...

I remember the TIME number (no temp) was something 1212. Used to hitchhike everywhere, including across Canada (not recommended). Used rabbit ears and watched Saturday cartoons. I still have some cassette tapes. I didn't see any leather bras in the video.

I remember as a little kid I was the one who got up to adjust knobs when the picture would start to roll on our old black and white tv. I was the best at getting it to stay put.

I just discovered the show Taskmaster this week and binged Season 4, and it's my new favorite.
Each season is self contained, I just chose this one because I actually knew 3 of the 5 comedians.
The entire thing was an absolute joy. Also, avoid the American Comedy Central one at all costs.

I posted this here instead of the listening to thread because this is for everyone. I grew up on the show Grizzly Adams. its all I ever wanted to be as a child. The song takes me back to a wonderfully warm memory and time.

Thanks for posting this… we started watching and it’s hilarious. I love their dry sense of humor and it’s fun watching them work through the tasks.

Thanks! One of our current pigeons (Payton) was adopted from the same place that Evelyn (in the video) came from. Evelyn is pair bonded to her human, just like Barry (the pidge who died due to a vet mistake a couple of years ago) was to me. It's a very special experience, being a husbird, especially since pigeons mate for life.

Thats neat. Nice having a new unheard Queen song again. The lyrics really speak to me of how I feel my life has become.

Seems to be trendy to take an old song and add new girls to it.

That lost Queen song.....the more I listen to it the more I like it. The way its sectioned or phrased , its a little macabre, it fits with October and Halloween.
