Anybody up for an intel i7 920, stock fan, 12gb ram and a so-so motherboard?

The board is an msi Big Bang x58 & there's a delay from when you hit power until it starts up. Also, sometimes it doesn't post through all the time & you have to do a hard reset to get the pc to start. Finally, there's so on board sound. You'd have to supply your own pci-e sound card.....

So really the only 100% reliable parts are the ram & CPU....

I'll most likely ship it out jan 6 or so.....

Absolutely. There is a dead system that needs emergency care, and this would do the trick. Occasional hard resets beat the hell out of no POST.

that's actually a step up from what i have, and i think it takes the same RAM. i might well be interested in that. it works fine?

Yep board works just fine....I'm moving the cpu over to a mATX setup for a smaller footprint. I'll have to look for the accessories, all I have at the moment is the i/o shield. All yours if you want it.

Whilst rummaging around found this an hauppague hvr-2250. I'm still scrounging around, but I do believe I have the remote for it somewhere. Let me know if interested.

Got it over Christmas Break (thanks, OO Santa!) but bought the bundle and decided to give back a favor to any one who want it.
