I'm not sure where to vote. I'd really like this to be my first no "good" death game so I'm taking this vote seriously.

Grund and Unagi have made their points about Stessier. He is not a bad choice to test today. Is he the final baddie who didn't advise his partner to claim Seer?

If I am profiling (how un-PC of me) then this is a strong data point to me. There are two types of individuals who would not push Lagom to claim Seer. Players who tend to ignore the strategy (Me and theohall for example) and players who were too busy or not involved at the time Lagom was in side-shuffle mode.

That leaves two sets (again this is my opinion):

Ignore the Strategy Types:
Theohall
Scoop20906 (Uncontested Wilbur)
msteelers (was an early voter for Lagom)

Too Busy or Not Involved During Lagom's Struggles:
Grundbegriff
Chaosraven
Theohall

Using my subjective criteria, theohall manages to show up on both lists. I'm cool with voting theohall today.

For what it is worth, I think stessier is wrong about who Lewis is.

I'm not feeling as though stessier is evil but I do feel he is going to need to be lynched or scanned. Given the "proof" of Lassr and the role claim of Scoop I think it would be a waste to scan either of them this round. Thus we could easily leave stessier to be scanned. I am a bit worried about Grund, who mentioned the idea of leaving a specific target for scanning as somewhat clever when I applied it to Scoop doesn't even mention it as a possibility regarding stessier yet he does mention the doubt he has regarding stessier's guilt.

The problem is I do think Chaosraven needs to be scanned too but I think the bad guy is between stessier, Grund, and Chaosraven.

I too felt like Grund is trying to guide things again. I've felt like he has been up to this all game and also was not involved (probably because of work) when Lagom was scrambling. I could vote for Grund too.

Remus, what is your opinion of Theohall and my theory about him from before? Why are you giving him a pass?

Grund's dissection of the game has also sent tingles down my spine. It did feel like the evil Grund directing us again. But I can't be sure and am willing to wait a little longer on grounding him.

I still want to ground stessier this round.

Heh, Grund directing things is just Grund being Grund imo. I just think he has left some things out that I find interesting AND his analysis during the first day was out of character. It reads as though he was gently trying to buy Lagom another day.

Scoop, I find theohall to be acting much as he claims. Uninterested. Evil theohall tends to be hyper focused. I doubt his ability to play the lay low type of evil guy (much like myself, just can't do it) as his interest in the outcome would force the urge to comment out of him and onto his keyboard. I also don't think evil Theohall gets all impatient and casts that vote on Lagom. I think evil admits their partner is going down much earlier than that and jumps on or stays away entirely. Day 1 there are plenty of reasons to avoid joining a bandwagon. Easily as many as there are for joining one. Why would evil help lynch their partner when it would put such pressure on them?

Remus' list is the same as my list.
I'm fine with Grund today or tomorrow.

My Lagom analysis points to Grund mostly (as I've stated previously)

Stessier has done nothing to help us. And a bit to flounder us. And really, his posts seem almost already defeated (anyone else get that feel?)

Chaos has played the straight and narrow.

I didn't take that as some big revelation. Just the expression of an intuition or inference. Did you mean it as some big revelation?
Like I said - I was just saying that I felt Newcastle was good, and would be annoyed if I was wrong.

That has to be toward the bottom on the 'some big revelation' scale, wouldn't you say?
Definitely. That's why stessier's move seems inexplicable. If he ends up good and he's not Lewis, then it's just an outright blunder, I think.

Who was it that time who kept an extremely uninvolved profile and then turned out to be evil. Was that Newcastle? theohall? I know it happened, but I can't recall who did it.
I also don't think evil Theohall gets all impatient and casts that vote on Lagom. I think evil admits their partner is going down much earlier than that and jumps on or stays away entirely.
How that might play out would depend in part on whether theohall was forging his own path or rather being prompted by Lagom.
Why would evil help lynch their partner when it would put such pressure on them?
Some people like a crucible. ;)

Of course, I don't have theohall pegged as someone who would invite that sort of scrutiny. But I can tell you this: some players who don't have much experience playing Evil panic when the heat is on and think, far too early, that their cover is blown. Many times, playing on the Evil team, I've had to calm down my panicky partners and help them ride a wave to which they might otherwise have overreacted. If Lagom (whose experience is in fact fairly limited despite the strength of his showing) felt the tide had already turned against him and mistook probing for persecution, he might've overreacted in that way and urged his partner into buy-some-cred mode.

or you may have stayed away from voting him as you calmly waited for the tide to turn another direction. Newcastle did the extreme low profile evil.

As for being paranoid regarding the dark bird, who else is as prone to attack me?

As for being tricksy, I think it more an issue of being aware that I should be killed tonight as I am the only sure bet they have. Thus I felt there was no need to hedge my bets or ideas before going out.

Re: "Meet the Robinsons" WW game - Night 2 : stessier Ground

Post by Isgrimnur »

Having decided that stessier has exhibited a bit too much interest in the china patterns and was found to have little bits of spring stuck to his costume, it was decided that he was the culprit of the breakfast disaster.

Having finished cleaning up the dining area, stessier is sent off to the other wing of the house. Before retiring from another day of interrupted revelry, Grundbegriff runs off to chide stessier again, reading off another long list of suspicions and recriminations. stessier sits through the lecture silently before Grund wishes him a good night and both prepare for sleep and another day of partying.

stessier was a Robinson.

It is the beginning of the night phase:

Lewis: Who will you scan?
Wilbur: Who will you protect?

Bowler Hat Guy: Who will you kidnap?
DOR-15: Who will you scan?

*any other players identified are for story purposes only and do not represent any game information.

for not being one of the 'majority six', you seem to have a misplaced "we". You are awfully interested in being a part of the team.

And here, I thought all the Robinsons together were a collective "we." I didn't realize you divided along voting lines in the family. I thought we were all trying to uncover evil working together. Thus, I will always support the majority family decision. I didn't vote for stessier because I thought theohall more evil than stessier.

I can't do anything, so you might want to ask someone else about that protection thing, Scoop
