He's getting the Cadillac treatment. The plasma and rendesovir and whatever else is actually indicated (as opposed hydroxochloroquine). Whatever it looks like, it's not quite as bad as it looks. They're just pulling out all the stops...

You know it. He's literally getting presidential treatment so when it's over he can say it was no big deal for the nation that has the best medical care in the world that he gave us in spire of Obamacare.

Every person who has gotten sick has been linked to the Rose Garden super spreader event last Saturday - Tillis, Lee, Trump, the Notre Dame President, Hicks, several reporters. The admin is totally to blame here. Another Senator or so and they won’t be able to confirm Barrett before the election.

In fact Mike Lee and Thom Tillis are both on Senate Judiciary, which I don’t think has yet moved Barrett forward. If they’re actually out for a time, the committee is tied.

I saw a meme or tweet or something this morning saying that trump's infection is evidence that RBG won her first case before God.

If he's getting remdesivir this early, it might work. It's a strong antiviral that ordinary mortals don't get it until they're critical, because it's in short supply. (I know a bit about remdesivir because GS441, the drug that's saving my cat's life, is an earlier formulation of the same drug. Unfortunately, it's not as miraculous against SARS-CoV-2 as it is against FeCoV.)

He's getting Regeneron, not remdesivir. A totally different type of drug.

Oh, and apparently Kellyanne Conway might also be positive and symptomatic for COVID-19, according to her daughter on TikTok.

Conway's daughter has to ask herself....is her mom evil, stupid, or both to support, work for, brag on, and lie for Trump.

Also maybe COVID will interact with all of Trump's past STDs and mutate to wipe him out.

Yeah, you are right, though, the White House just sent out an update that they will be putting him on remdesivir as well.

Which, again, completely negates the whole "mild-to-moderate-no-big-deal-just-a-precaution" narrative.

Before, I think there was a 99% chance of the nominee getting confirmed (some scandal could come out that derails the nomination, for example). This almost undoubtedly delays the vote until after the election, at which point there's other things that could hurt the nomination (eg, the Democrats gain a seat right away, Republicans lose in a landslide causing some Republicans (especially the ones that lost or could be up in a purple state in the future to rethink things, etc.), so maybe 98%. But yes, energy is better spent elsewhere.

And, of course, we're assuming that the Democrats don't gain control of the Senate before the election. :wink:

The White House “bubble” around the president was never really that much of a “bubble”. No masks, no social distancing, they seem to have relied totally upon testing to protect the president. This was only inevitable, I’m surprised it took this long;
