This is a YouTuber I really like - does a lot of enjoyable movie reviews - and he's put out an hour-long video about his time as a Jehovah's Witness and how they interact with the world. I appreciate his perspective from inside and how it looks from outside. He left the church a little over decade ago.

The thing I found most staggering was when one of the Elders was being questioned about sexual abuse of children, and the Elder basically said they handle it by isolating the perpetrator. When asked if they warn the greater community about a predator, the Elder couldn't think of a way to spin their absolute indifference to whether or not a child outside their religion might be victimized and just sat there in silence until the questioner fed him a way out. They just ostracize the abuser and let them continue to prey on the community outside the church. If you're not in the church, you don't matter.
