Trump's tweeting at night is even more incoherent than his morning tweets.
In case he deletes it:

"Despite the constant negative press covfefe"

No follow up, no additional tweet, nothing. Just that.

Corrected: President Trump so clearly wishes he had a magnetic personality and tries constantly to exude positive energy, which, to his great frustration does not seem to infect those around him. He has an unparalleled ability to insult and patronize other people, whether he is speaking to a room of three or an arena of 30,000. He has the most estranged and tenuous relationships, built throughout his troubled and bankrupt life, and treats everyone with total disrespect. He is a moron with no sense of irony nor humor… and an amazing ability to make people feel hopeless and contemplate the end of America.

Right?

Actually, it's funny to think he was about to write the above Tweet - when he got news of some exposed Russian money laundering - and just fat-fingered it and mistakenly hit 'Post'. (or 'Tweet', or what ever is done...)

I'm hanging on every non-word.

Have the lawyers informed him that he's no longer allowed to delete tweets? It's still there, and nothing since.

Wait, you guys are suggesting he wrote that ode to himself? Dude has a 60 word vocabulary at best. No way he wrote or even dictated that.

If it doesn't sound like Frankenstein (Phil Hartman version ) wrote it, it didn't come from him.

Yeah, he deleted the "covfefe" tweet, added a "humorous" one to replace it, then went on a Carter Page rant (perhaps accusing Comey and Brennan of perjury in the process), before finishing with an attack on Kathy Griffin and bringing his son Barron into the picture.

The "funny" response to his own tweet is especially stupid since it lacks the context of having the original one up. It also tries to pass it off as a funny thing he did, which also get shot down, since if you wanted it to be a "mystery", you'd have to have left the original one up.

About the "my children are having such a hard time with this" thing, I wonder why Obama never took to twitter to complain about targets with his face on them, or people lynching him in effigy. Those things have much deeper overtones for a black family, but not a peep. Looks like Trump's the delicate snowflake.

It's totally the launch codes. He just messed up the punctuation. It should've been "Constant negative? Press 'covfefe'."

Oh hey look, people are beginning to have second thoughts:
One lawyer who represents prospective political appointees told POLITICO that three clients said over the past two weeks that they are no longer interested in working for the Trump administration following the appointment of Robert Mueller as special counsel overseeing the federal investigation into Trump associates’ contacts with Russian officials during the campaign.

“There’s no doubt in my mind that people are being very cautious, to put it mildly,” this lawyer said, adding that there is growing concern in Republican circles that the caliber of hires could deteriorate if the administration’s top picks drop out.

“You’re going to have a situation where they’re going to have trouble getting A-list or even B-list people to sign up,” the lawyer added.
Like a well-oiled machine...made up of low caliber workers. But I guess as long as they're loyal toadies, they'll be welcomed with open arms.

As a reminder:
According to the nonpartisan Partnership for Public Service, the White House has announced nominees for just 117 of the 559 most important Senate-confirmed positions.
If only all the liberals would just stop acting out and let the President get back to work.

Today is the start of the Atlantic Hurricane season, but there is still nobody in charge of FEMA or NOAA.

Nothing to worry about, I'm sure it's perfectly normal. Even with NOAA predicting an above average year.

Point taken, although I'm assuming they are currently being run by the deputies of the previous heads. You might be better off with them than whoever Trump decides to put in charge. :P

Actually, it kind of sucks because none of the upper management wants to approve anything so all changes things grinds to a halt. It also kills morale of the workers. If you are fine with government agencies stuck in limbo and being unable to adapt then you love this administration.

Philippine Casino Attack Leaves Dozens Dead
Philippine investigators say 36 people suffocated to death inside a major hotel-and-casino resort in the capital Manila after a gunman torched part of the complex and tried to make off with more than $2 million in casino chips.

The attacker, whose identity is still unknown, later killed himself by setting himself alight, national police chief Gen. Ronald Dela Rosa told reporters. “He burned himself inside the hotel in room 510,” Gen. Dela Rosa said. “He was burned beyond recognition.”

The attacker, whose identity is still unknown, later killed himself by setting himself alight, national police chief Gen. Ronald Dela Rosa told reporters. “He burned himself inside the hotel in room 510,” Gen. Dela Rosa said. “He was burned beyond recognition.”
According to the Philippine authority, this was not a terror attack.

The gunman's goal was to rob the casino and he didn't shoot at the casino guests. Most of the casualties were because of the smoke.
Local chief of police, Oscar Albayalde, added: "It's either he lost in the casino and wanted to recoup his losses or he went totally nuts."

More than 50 people have been raced to hospital after the attack – which police were quick to deny was terror, despite the nation being gripped in a fight with ISIS.

It is claimed the bodies were found on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the casino area.

None of the victims had been shot, police said.

Heavily-armed police swarmed the hotel in the moments after the robbery as horrified witnesses claimed it was a terror attack.

ISIS initially claimed "lone wolf soldiers" carried out the attack, according to the SITE Intelligence Group that monitors terrorist organisations.

Police described the gunman as “foreign-looking, a Caucasian, about six feet tall” and said he spoke English.

Mr dela Rosa told local media: "We cannot attribute this to terrorism. We are looking into a robbery angle because he did not hurt any people and went straight to the casino chips storage room.

"He parked at the second floor and barged into the casino, shooting large TV screens and poured gasoline on a table setting it on fire."

Footage posted on social media shows scores of people frantically running from the hotel and casino complex as loud bangs were heard.

I saw somewhere the other day (post-disastrous foreign trip and anticipating withdrawal from Paris Agreement) that the US is no longer the leader of the free world. I was surprised that my first reaction was "Good, that will limit the amount of direct damage this fucking idiot can do to the rest of the world".

Definitely a feature, not a bug. Grind the gears of government to a complete halt, then farm it out to private sector when people complain that the system isn't working.

Yeah, because the private sector always puts the needs of the people before profit so that is a wonderful idea.

Bear in mind that this only works best when the private sector 'bidders' are all close personal friends of the politicians.
