2nd try = 11384... And too much time wasted...
Pretty close. 1024, 256, 64, 32, 3 16s, 2 8s, 3 4s, 4 2s. I made a two or three big blunders at the end where it was very unforgiving and the last pull gave me a 4 instead of 2 just to be spiteful.

16224 = 1024, 512, 256, 128, 2 64, 16, 3 8, 3 4, 3 2.
So close, though an accidental board shake eventually sent my 256 all the way across the board from my 512, so maybe not that close...

Here is a fun little thing . You draw something and this place makes it into a color painting. So it can be horrible to great depending on your drawing skill
More info if you can read the language

Friday timewasters are best when they are browser games, not ones that make me have to surreptitiously use my phone. Also, it's Thursday.

I wonder if you have to guess words - might be able to be more successful if the first guess is STRLN or maybe STRLE.

I don't think it cares if they are valid words.stessier wrote: Wed Jan 05, 2022 2:52 pm I wonder if you have to guess words - might be able to be more successful if the first guess is STRLN or maybe STRLE.
I got the one yesterday in 3. And I'm not sure that my first guess was a word. Though now I can't recall. So maybe it was.
Edit: I just pulled up the site, and it still had the one from yesterday. And I did use a word. But I still don't get the feeling that it cares. It feels a lot more like a version of Mastermind.

You do. I tried to go the easy route and it threw out my non words. I found myself ill prepared after not going in with a plan but still got it in 4 tries. Not sure how difficult it will be once you put together a plan of attack, but I also notice you can change the difficulty by forcing
Edit:BAM!
Which I definitely did not do and I was stumping myself coming up with words without five and then ten letters before playing around known letter placements.Any revealed hints must be used in subsequent guesses
Edit:BAM!

Wordle 200 3/6

Pretty pleased with getting it right after two very mediocre guesses.
It's like Mastermind, but the use of words adds an interesting wrinkle to the decision space. You have many more "colors" (letters) in play, but the potential combinations are constrained because they have to form real words.
