Capitalism tries for a delicate balance: It attempts to work things out so that everyone gets just enough stuff to keep them from getting violent and trying to take other people’s stuff.

Re: Battle.Net Friends List
I just spent a few minutes trying to figure out how to add people through the battle.net website. Short answer, you can't, you have to do it in-game. I just added a bunch of people through the Diablo 3 start screen. Gotta go into the Social/Friends window (O-key shortcut) and click on Add Friend at the bottom of the Social window. You can then copy-paste their Diablo 3 battle tag there.Lyno wrote:Diablo 3: Lyno#1310

Right after I won that, the person I was playing asked to friend me. I actually assumed it was another OO'er, so I hit YES. 2 secs later, the little punk messages something like "Way to win by luck, shitbag" ! WTF man. Then he/she immediately defriended me. Who does that?!
Someone needs to stop playing and go outside in the real world to get socialized a bit more. Sheesh!

Re: Battle.Net Friends List
I remember playing Red Alert years ago. It was one of those rare instances when I actually won a game. However, the person I was playing with kept taunting me over chat while the game was going on. When he/she realized they were losing, they started getting nasty about it, telling me I was winning only because I was using cheap tactics (whatever that means).
Finally, as the victory screen appeared, they started getting even nastier. After a few seconds of this, I typed back, "Tanks for gaim! Mom says I half to go now for bed time! By by!"

I've learned to always ignore the "a recent opponent wants to be your friend" requests. All they ever want to do is vent about losing. I figure that ignoring them makes them rage even harder.Carpet_pissr wrote:Remember that game you observed a few days ago?Gryndyl wrote:Gryndyl#1623
