Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is very good. Wasn’t sure I’d appreciate the echo mechanic, but my kid and I are having a blast so far.
And you get to play as Zelda!

Still playing Dark Souls on the switch on a semi-regular basis. Runs great, and they still have multi-player servers forming connections, so the invade/assist mechanic still works, as opposed to on the PC.
The switch could use a high quality SSD. Load times are longer than I like, having been spoiled on PC.

1) missed opportunity to not call it 'Super Nintendo Switch'
2) Backward compatibility has an asterisk. Need to see details on that.
3) April, 2025 Direct--hopefully it ships shortly thereafter.
4) I'm totally in.

It looks good. But I sure hope they fixed their stick drift issues. Who wants to speculate on cost? I'm thinking around $450.00 at launch.

Supposedly they did fix the drift issue by moving to a new type of sensor. I don't recall the details, though (nor do I know if that was confirmed).
$449.99 seems like a reasonable guess to me. I'm in immediately at $499, though, so long as the backwards compatibility is good (say, 90% of my existing games).

I have some Switch cartridges so backwards cartridge compatibility is a selling point for me.

I'm more worried about digital compatibility, as I only have a few cartridges. It's the gold mine of downloaded games I want to work.

Like most Nintendo consoles, I played the hell out of my Switch when I first got it, and it's been gathering dust now forever. The main selling point of portability isn't nearly as big a deal now that a) I don't travel and b) my eyes are getting significantly worse. Smaller screens are getting really hard to see.
I'm sure I'll probably get one eventually (likely if/when a new Xenoblade comes out), but I'm definitely in no rush.

Yeah, I'm a bit torn as I didn't use my old Switch like.....ever. Admittedly we bought it for the kids, but you'd think in all that time I'd at least be swayed by some of the Nintendo exclusives. And the mobile gaming doesn't matter at all to me.
On the flip side, I also see it as a bit of a "fresh start" reunion with Nintendo, and could see myself learning to love it as I did with my PS5. The one major point it has in its favor is that its exclusives are typically TRUE exclusives.
I'll probably just take a wait and see approach to see what games are announced and the price point.
