Poor, stupid record company.
Not to mention you'd have to practically LIVE at a recording studio to keep up that volume of work... yikes.

Found out this morning that the man killed in the murder/arson case in Denver was the younger brother of a guy I went to high school with.
From all accounts, seems to be a classic case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Bizarre.

Oh really? You weren't there that morning, so thank you SO much for your opinion. You weren't there when those 9 year old boys jumped into 64 degree water on a 55 degree morning. Let me see you jump your carcass into that without having an immediate heart attack and dying, you fat penny-pinching fuck.

I'm on a knifes edge from leaving this stupid cub scout pack. I'm having constant clashes with a couple of other leaders, and I'm really pissed off at scouting in general right now, because of their stance on who they will and will not admit into scouting. This guy just hit me the wrong way today, and that was the response I wanted to send him. But I didn't, and came here to vent my spleen at the universe instead.

Is he saying they don't deserve the patch even after doing the swim? Why in the world not?!?

I'm thinking because there was no actual ice or snow involved.

Should have dumped out some coolers into the lake to meet the requirement.

As I said, he's a fat penny-pinching fuck. He is saying this SPECIFICALLY so we don't have to spend another $15 on 7 patches for the boys.

Wouldn't it cost more to put on another camping expedition to get the badge?

Which is what we did for the "polar bear swim" when I worked at Boy Scout camp. Get the kids down to the lake at ass-crack of dawn, make 'em jump in, then dump a bunch of ice on top of them.
Good times.

Can I donate the $15? I will. There is a catch though. The boys will need to wait for their patches to pass through this guy's system as I will require you shove them down his throat.

It's not even a badge, it's a freaking PATCH that they sew on their vests so they can look at it later and go "Oh yeah, I remember when we did that!" No requirement, just a nice to give out to the boy so he has something to remember the event by.

Is is the one that's labeled: "All life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light?"
Cuz if so, I think it should be ok to press it.

I don't recall ever authorizing it (although i suppose it could be buried in the EULA somewhere), but somehow all my Facebook friends are now showing up as contacts in my iPhone (I upgraded to the iPhone 5 earlier this week). That's seriously annoying.

While I'd be confused, I'd probably be more upset if

Pretty sure if you go into Settings -> Facebook, you can turn off the contact integration.

Tomorrow is the trial run for the improved Batman costume. I still haven't figured out how the hell Batman pees. That's a potential problem.

I was going to get a morph suit to wear under a body of fleece as the primer for Sneetch costume this year. The morph suit only has a zipper in the back. Peeing plus the possibility of a bout with IBS while in costume make that costume design impossible. We'll revisit the idea next year.
BTW did you realize Sneetches actually have a sort of Duck bill and not a Gonzo Schnoz? We went through the entire story boarding and found exactly one non profile picture and the full frontal sneetch face picture shows the Sneetch beak as flat and extending all the way to the sides of a Sneetch face. The things you learn when you pay attention.

Dumbass! Doesn't he realize that leaders pay for that stuff out of their own pocket? My God, I don't even remember how much I've spent over the past 14 years, but I could probably buy a decent used car.

For the record, I did not blow off work to run errands, go out to lunch with my wife, nap, and play lots of xcom. I had "transportation problems". My problem was a total lack of interest in getting in the car at the expense of not doing the aforementioned activites. That is all.

Is there a version of Billy Idol's Hot in the City where he calls out the city and it's Chattanooga? I swear I grew up on that version and the first time I heard the shout out to New York was on YouTube. I think I even heard Detroit. but Chattanooga is ingrained in me. Am I nuts?

Ouch, how does that happen outside of a video game?

I don't know. No idea if the woman who hit me had her foot on the gas or the brakes or what, but clearly, hitting me once wasn't enough!
My car, somehow, escaped relatively damage free (the rear bumper needs some work that her insurance company will handle). My head, however, did not.

As someone that still has active Hotmail and XBox Live accounts, I don't have that problem. And the line of attack for PC Gaming wasn't
Windows Live, it was
Games for Windows Live.

Woo Hoo coop!
A thought is a cut in the costume's crotch if you need to tinkle. The slit should be easy enough to cover up as long as you don't sit with your legs spread open
