Randy Travis has a new song out...sorta...His voice, another singer, AI mixing. Actually really good. Im just not sure on all this AI stuff. Would you count this as Randy or not? Im split.

It's sad for me to see Randy unable to sing, as he was a favorite of my wife and I when we were dating. We went to see him in concert on a number of occasions so I have very good memories of that.

As far as the AI stuff goes, I'm of the mind that it's here and it's not going away, so we can either futilely rail against it or we can figure out how to make some good come out of it. In this case, they did something positive so I'm all for it.

One might argue that it's not "real," music but honestly how much of *any* music these days is real? Almost every song on the radio has been processed and cut and mixed and tweaked. Unless you're watching someone live on stage, almost all the music you hear is "artificial" even without the AI.

My wife loved his music too. She knew all his songs by heart and would sing along to them.
