This is just a little aside...Remus West wrote:Day 2 - suggests that he sees Newcastle as innocent. I'm unsure why.
I said that Newcastle and I seemed to be 'on the same page' this game. What I meant by that was that his posts reflected my thoughts, and (I think it's human nature) that leads (lead) me to believe he's good.... and that if he turned up evil - I would be psycologically bopped by it. The fact that I left open the idea that he could be evil (IMO) short-circuits any concept that I was trying to tell everyone that I scanned him good. It was actually that point that made me think stessier was full of it.
If I was Lewis, sadly - I could very well have scanned Newcastle last night. I wasn't sure of his innocence - I just agreed with his disposition on things.

I was talking about Grund not you. Correct. It was his interactions with Lagom-- not Lagom's lists-- that made me think Newcastle was probably good.Remus West wrote:I was talking about Grund not you. Re: "Meet the Robinsons" WW game - Game underway: Day 1
Assuming (safely, I think) that Lassr is Spike, we now know that Lagom's second wolf list was pure misdirection. Since Scoop is Wilbur, that leavesHere's how Lagom Lite seems to have allocated people across those categories:
Suspects: One wolf in {Chaosraven, msteelers, Qantaga, Unagi} and one wolf in {Lassr, Newcastle, stessier}
Innocents: Remus West
Don't-Knows: Grundbegriff, Scoop20906, theohall
{Chaosraven, msteelers, Qantaga, Unagi} among his "wolves"
and
{Grundbegriff, theohall} among those about whom he claimed to be unsure.
I'd love to say that looking back with more info cracks the case wide open, but (as far as I can see) it doesn't.

I have to say, I'm disappointed that some came out in such strong defense of Chaosraven. He's barely posted anything this game, and it's hard to get a read on someone if they are not active. As others have already said, the vote on chaos was a way to get him to say something. Instead, with so many people defending him he was able to come in with two small posts and vanish again.
My three suspects are still Grund, Chaos, and Theohall. I can still vote for any of them, but right now I feel like I have to stay on chaosraven.

I've been reading along. Assuming work isn't crazy this evening, I am rereading and making notes. Of course, my last hunch pointed at Lassr.

Slowly rereading. Making me wonder about someone I had discounted. More when I go home and find time to finish reading (I'm all the way up to page 8 right now so don't expect anything real soon here).

Ok, so Lewis is still alive. He should have 2 scans and obviously they aren't the last bad guy or Lewis is *really* wasting our time. We cannot sacrifice Lewis for his scans, as he alone is the Evil win condition. If scoop protects him, we have one more scan.

Now, *if* Lewis is one of (Unagi, theohall, Grund, msteelers, or Qantaga) and has Scanned two players on that list, we have won. Lewis tells us which two are Robinsons. We ground one of the remaining two today and the other tomorrow. SCOOP protects (Lewis) tonight to keep the Machine out of Evils hands.

However. I think your scenario can be improved.
If Lewis had only 3 remaining unknown to him;
We ground #1 today
He scans #2 tonight
He is protected by Scoop tonight.
He tells us to ground #2 or #3 in the morning.
Right?

My hysteria would leave the vote on Chaosraven, but he appears to be helping win with that last post, unless he was intentionally misdirecting us by not including himself.
So.... I will go with the quiet but helpful Chaosraven and go to target #2.

nobody yet, the plan hinges on Lewis having scanned a subset of (not lassr, remus, scoop, newcastle, stessier). If Lewis scanned any of them, we are not in position to win this way.Scoop20906 wrote:I'm fine with the plan. So who I am protecting?

So I gather we're waiting either forChaosraven wrote:Now, *if* Lewis is one of (Unagi, theohall, Grund, msteelers, or Qantaga) and has Scanned two players on that list, we have won.
(a) Lewis to step up and say that three of the names on that list are accounted for by himself and his two scans
or
(b) enough time and silence to go by that we infer Lewis cannot meet those conditions.

Unagi, theohall, Grund, msteelers, qantaga. If one is Lewis, and has scanned *any* of the other four, that leaves three. One to ground, one to scan, one to ground. I am UNCLE ART.
