I remember them refusing to let gay couples adopt and raise children. I kept thinking dont they know straight couples birth gay children?
That's not a rule either.

I don't even know where to put this shit anymore. Is this a 21st century GOP plank in their platform yet? Is this more evidence that the GOP is slowly continuing their transition into QAnon?
This shit stain is going to get teachers killed. Her brother Curtis is gay, so you would think she had learned compassion and acceptance. But that is not the case and she continues to basically sound the battle cry to murder anyone who doesn't meet the hypocritical morality standards not even SHE can adhere to.

Can you imagine Congress and other Government leaders saying the things and doing the things they do today back in the 1950s? Imagine them doing it in newspapers and on tv. Unimaginable. Well there were not any women to stand in the audience during a State of the Union and make faces and shout either I guess. I mean when a person talks about the lack of morals, intelligence, or the degradation of our USA they need look no further than our own so called leaders.
(The first half is Brian Wellington, the second half is the guy we've already seen, but there's a slight cut in the video, and I think they rearranged the video for some reason, maybe to leave what is (arguably) best for last? )

Cover of "London Calling" made with the blessing of surviving Clash members.
Admittedly I don't view any trumputin propaganda, but it seems to me like Ukraine is really winning social media.

I don’t disagree, but I’m trying to find what specifically made you post that here.
The convoy guy?
CNN?
I feel like I’m missing the social media context that triggered that thought here.
Was it just kinda a ‘man , there is a lot of good stuff being shared on twitter regarding Ukraine’s side of all of this.’ ?
Cause, yeah. It seems overwhelmingly like Ukrainians have the majority of the content. I assume part of that is Russia being cut off.

On the other hand, Russia gets several hours of free broadcast time on Fox, OAN, and Newsmax every day.

True.
And not just that, Putin is re-broadcasting their statements to justify his special military operation as well. Vile.

I was thinking of the Clash cover linked above, as well as the haunting Bayraktar.

I just stumbled across a clip from RED DAWN. It's really kind of amazing how ridiculous this movie was.
Russian Airborne troops came into central US states on commercial flights. (And apparently, if the dramatic early scene is to be believed, parachuting in full combat gear from them.) Cubans infiltrated SAC bases, which somehow made it possible for the Cuban and Nicaraguan armies to invade Texas. Apparently Mexico didn't notice them, and it's somehow irrelevant that these armies are only about three times the size of the Texas National Guard (just in case the US Army and USMC didn't exist).
Then, apparently, the Russians sent 60 divisions(!) across the Bering straight(!) and marched them south through Canada(!).
Oh, and Europe sat the whole thing out (because really who can trust a Frenchman?).
I was a teen when this came out, and I was dumb enough to think movies reflected reality.

Yeah it was pretty dumb. The US Navy/Airforce just let's them ferry over 60 divisions? Sure thing Hollywood. Believe it or not the 2012 reboot was even dumber featuring a Russia backed North Korea invading via the east and west coasts. Again the world's biggest navy is AWOL or something.

The only way this is believable is if there was a sizeable amount of the country that aligned with Russia. And we know that could never happen. Right? Right?

On the up side, we now know that an insurgent high school football team totally could fight the Russian army to a standstill.
